Again, with who? Give me one REALISTIC name. Dan Lanning? Not with the buy out in his contract. Sark? Not with what Texas can pay him. Do you realize how many millions they make a week with their ties to the oil industry? Realize when they say Texas and Texas A&M have more money than God, they mean it. Kirby? Seriously? If you say Kirby, your just trolling now. So, again, WHO?
There isnt anyone out there

The OL is, and has been atrocious. They are why Bama has no running game. Never thought I would see Bama teams that couldn’t run the ball.
Watch Gibbs run wild for the Lions on Sunday. Wasted behind the horrible line play at Alabama. DeBoer needs to find a quality offensive line coach. Saban had a few greats.

Saban, even with this team, I don’t think loses to Michigans scout team.
Saban was due for a bad season and I have my doubts he would have gotten the 10th win this year after seeing how this team plays. There are a lot of variables to consider and the more you think about them the more you question what the true potential of this team was. I think replacing a DC and having to deal with Milroe another year are things that don’t bode well for Saban in 24. Never mind the questions surrounding Downs and if we have a 2nd receiver or center going into 24.

I think if coach saban had to watch milroe another year he would have had a stroke,

Reality is that when Saban retired besides DeBoer nobody would touch this job.
Besides having to follow the GOAT the timing of his retirement couldn't have been worse.
Coaches knew our roster was going to be raided as we initially lost 40 players!
Our recruiting the past few years has fallen off on both sides of the LOS and the
portal has hurt our depth. Plus al

You cannot run the ball when there is no respect for the intermediate passing game. Linebackers fill the gaps and confuse the assignments. They don’t have to worry about slants or curls in the middle of the field, so getting back to the intermediate middle zones isn’t even necessary. If you put seven on the line and bring any of those six every play most every quarterback will find the hot and roast you until you stop. Then the running lanes open.

Alabama has been missing parts of a regular functioning offense for the last two years, and it makes stopping the run a whole lot easier.

This line isn’t perfect, but a lot of the issues aren’t solely on them.

Not sure you can blame the OC when there was countless plays he called with guys running wide open in the middle of the field. I would have tried to run more but they were stacking the box pretty well and then playing safeties over the top to take away the deep ball. Sheridan was calling crossing routes 15 yard down field which is the right play call but the quarterback needs to throw it there. The play calling was fine if Milroe see it and throws the ball. Then they either have to slide linebackers back some so you can run or move safeties up and that opens the deep ball. He just doesn’t see the middle of the field well and Michigan exploited it.
Germie Bernard was open on the crossing routes all day long. Milroe cannot see an open receiver over the middle to save his life. I think after his awful performance in this game we will be stuck with him next year. NFL defenses would eat him for lunch.

We never adjusted. I can't explain that.
Those three words are the best description of this coaching staff during the entire course of the season. Being able to respond to what an opponent is doing is THE PIVOTAL THING a coach must be able to do. This staff has proven to be totally inept at their primary job.

I dont know...........I think he moves on, whether to the pros or transfer portal. I can't imagine the powers that be at Bama would stomach him again. They might even pay him to go away

I think there were plenty that would have been interested. It was just that the options were either not acceptable to the fanbase or to Greg Byrne. I think Lane Kiffin would have taken the job in a heartbeat if he would have been offered but Byrne didn't want him. If enough money would have been offered to Dabo they could have eventually gotten him to come to Bama but the fanbase didn't want him. They could have gambled and offered the job to then OC Tommy Rees who would have taken it but nobody could be sure what we're getting in that case. There are many more who would have taken the job. Byrne just felt DeBoer had the best resume.
