I’d truly hate it for him. He’s the winningest player in AU history, and if that’s his career. Oof.

Good news for your player, @AUDub !

No specific timetable was given, but Williams is expected back before the end of the season.

At the very least, it reduces the numbers of our immediate pursuers. As we go into Rupp Arena, UK is three full games back.

How does LSU beating Kentucky help us? LSU is a long way away from it becoming a Q1 win for us, so just curious about how it helps.
14-4 probably wins the conference imo, so this gives them there 5th loss and puts them out of winning it. Winning the SEC will give you a bigger boost in seeding than one quad 1 win. If we win conference and make SEC tournament finals we are a 2 seed imo. If we win both and things fall our way maybe slide into last number 1.

With 3 games on the road (KY, OM and UF) plus UT and Hogs to end the year, a 1 game lead is very vulnerable.

At this point, anything can happen. A team 3 games back that runs the table can possibly win the regular season title if we run into trouble in these last 5 games.

At worst, we need to finish 3-2 and probably 4-1 to win it outright.

It looks like a 3 horse race, us, Auburn, and UT. KY as a potential winner wasn't on my radar, so I guess that's why I was confused.

Perchance he be inspired by Chaucer:

Whan that my fourthe housbonde was on beere,
I weep algate, and made sory cheere,
As wyves mooten, for it is usage,
And with my coverchief covered my visage;
But for that I was purveyed of a make,
I wepte but smal, and that I undertake!

A lot depends on the Tennessee game. If we win that one that puts everyone with at least 4 losses. Win that one and 3-2 wins it outright most likely because the other teams play each other a bunch and will give each other another loss over next couple weeks. Auburn has weakest schedule but have couple road games and big injury to deal with. South Carolina I can’t see running table so they will have 5 losses. The Tennessee Auburn game is a must win for Auburn to have a chance to win conference imo. I can’t see us or Tennessee not finishing with 4 losses or less.

UK has 5 losses and is 3 games back. VS 2 games back and we play at their place.

More than likely, this takes UF and UK out of the race. 4 team race now.

It's a good day to be a Georgia Bulldog b-ball fan!

A$M could do us a big favor if they could pull off a road upset at UT. Doubt they got it in them, though.
