.I gotta believe that Ala is the overwhelming fav at this pt with OT Cyrus Kouandijo, esp considering he has not scheduled any more visit

It is the latter of the two. I have no doubt that Cyrus will be at Alabama. This isn't a stone cold lock, but it as close to a lock as there is in recruiting.

Let me translate what Airborne is saying, I believe he is saying that Cyrus is a lock to Alabama. Call me crazy and my translation might be off but I think that is what AT is saying. ;)
 
I realize the decision is CK's, but if I was his mum I would "strongly encourage" him to play at the same school as his brother so they would be able to see them both play.

Why do you even say that? He's done nothing IMO that would make me think he's trying to drum up suspense regarding his recruitment, if anything it's the complete opposite.

I agree with ya. If anything, he's been very boring on the recruiting front. Only shocking thing he's said is that he's willing to go to New Mexico and change the program. Other than that, he's not going out looking to do interviews or commit/decommit. Pretty straight forward so far
 
Cyrus cancelled his official visit to Iowa this weekend. He will not take an official visit next weekend as he is taking the SAT, so in effect he's down to his final visit now.
 
Wow, that's great news to hear he didn't even go to Iowa. Even though I feel very good about him coming to us, it still seems like a good bet if he doesn't take anymore OVs

Eh, I dunno. I think he's built the suspense IF he is truly a lock to Bama. I've heard all of reasons of why he is a lock, but he's never said anything other than the fact that he is completely open. If its been Bama the entire time, then he's having fun w/ the process... and I don't blame him for that... just sayin'.

I think that may fall into the realm of sportswriters building drama, not CK.:BigA:
 
A lot will depend on the feedback he is getting from his brother. I have heard that he is saying he does not want to have compete against his brother. Coach Saban did address that although saying there is more than one position on the O line.
