But but but who is going to tank them? And by what criteria?
I remember during the BCS era there was some facet of the computation that took in to effect the score a team won by and it was going to cause a lot of lopsided blowouts.
I don’t have a problem with some computerized formula sorting out who is ranked where but, it’s going to have to take in a lot of factors and multiple ranking sources to try and weed out any bias…intended or not.
I would like some weighting for margin of victory, but have a cap on it.

Winning by 1 point on a FG as time expires might be exciting, but it just isn't as impressive a win as beating the same team three or four touchdowns.

Still, I don't want to incent running up the score on an overmatched team. So cap the benefit at, say, 24 points. IOW, you get no more benefit for winning by 49 or 60 or whatever than you do winning by 24.

The suggestion of 24 points is purely an arbitrary gut feeling....I'd be willing to discuss an alternative cap number. But I think the concept works.
