It is a little worrisome that Cody Campbell will co chair. He seems to have taken the Dave Portnoy/Michigan approach to recruiting for Texas Tech.
As far as the media rights deals, we had a central media rights deal long ago, it wasn’t good for CFB. Universities are not franchises, and Academia will always have a say, not always aligned with CFB fan interests. Not necessarily a bad thing if we keep the student athlete model. JOMO.
