Remember 2001, wait until the announcement before buying tickets! I remember folks who ended up buying tickets before hand and had tickets to the wrong bowl.
Don't forget about my 4 tickets to....I don't know that this is exactly breaking news - surely expected to a certain extent- but a good friend of mine just called and said he once again has secured our Independence bowl tickets to watch Bama play Colorado.
Each year that Bama has played in Shreveport he has secured our tickets because he is friends with a member of the Independence Bowl committee. This committee member said that the decision has been made, they want Bama back in Shreveport. I was hoping for more but in all honestly this or the Cotton Bowl is probably the only feasible chance I get to see Bama play post season. RTR!!!
we owe colorado from a few years back.I'm glad for the opportunity to go to a bowl due to the extra practice and revenue it brings BUT I don't think Alabama wants any part of Colorado or the winner of UCF/Tulsa.
I believe the last time we played Colorado was in 1991, and it ended up being the David Palmer show. Needless to say, we won.we owe colorado from a few years back.
I'm praying for either the liberty or by some miracle chance Nashville.I wouldn't mind a trip to Memphis to the Liberty...better than Shreveport anyway.
I will def. be going, but I will really miss bonfires, Seagram's 7, passing out in a RV and riding around drunk in golf cartsDon't forget about my 4 tickets to....DT_Armataz_02_02:
We're 1-1 against them. 1 loss in '69 and 1 win in '91. I guess a few years back is like 38 years maybe? :biggrin2:we owe colorado from a few years back.
If we do, indeed, go to the Liberty Bowl, I'll see you guys at the stadium.![]()
