I don't think that can be stated with absolute knowledge other than by the people involved (or more likely not involved). As do you, I will give Peyton the benefit of doubt but this is certainly not an internet rumor and while Sly is crawfishing right now, I expect he would be doing that regardless of the veracity of his initial statements. He is now looking at the weight of the entire NFL and the considerable clout of the Manning family soon to be sitting on his chest. This will be a big story no matter which way it goes, and whether or not it is discussed on TideFans.
And they should be made to pay dearly in publicity and $$$ if it turns out as we think it will. On a completely different train... if he was recovering and did use something, that does not mean he did it while he was playing ball.

Yes, he had major neck surgery and was out for the season. Hypothetically, what if HGH would help in recover of this neck surgery, would that be so terrible? Not saying this, but the stigma if PED's has gotten out of hand, it's just one big lump of "cheater". NFL players are shot up with numbing agents and given opiates a lot, and imo, this is more of a PED than if someone took HGH while recovering from surgery and out for a season. I think Peyton tried a lot of things to recover, and I believe him.
I hope he sues Al Jazeera for what is now known as a completely false article. I don't care who the person is, making up a complete lie and publishing it is wrong. Bringing his wife and her medical history into this also opens up an other can of HIPPA worms. Take Al Jazeera to the cleaners, Peyton!
I see a couple of articles in which Manning now says his wife was a client of the lab and whatever she had delivered and took is her business and has nothing to do with him....
Peyton may have Al Jazeera on HIPAA violations but the lies will probably fall on their source if their documentation is solid. I am surprised they did not get a second verification before taking on the NFL and the Mannings however.
All you have to do is to compare him to his father and brother. Judge for yourselves.

Good lord, people. He got caught and now everyone is hand wringing like the world's ending. I remeber people crying like this over Lance Armstrong, as well. NFL players cheat and they get away with it daily.
After further review, the claim was anti-aging meds....maybe that's HGH, maybe not. I don't know enough about it.

I just deleted my post, because it's not worth it. Not you AJ, but some make it their life's cause to fight for guilty people like Peyton. Just like ARod, Lance Armstrong, Roger Clemmons, et al. pro players use drugs to make themselves bigger, faster, stronger. I just can't get over the people on here defending him. smh
I get it. And I'm not defending, so much as I would just like to get the real story. Now that the lid is off the box, let's hear the truth
