So, apparently the only way we can beat Georgia is if Fromm, Nick, and Sony are kidnapped before the game. Just saw this from a fan on FB. I laughed a little.

I say our boys would have rolled in the first round no matter the opponent. It being Clemson was just icing on the cake. This team is on a mission. It does not matter the opponent, the only goal is the NC. Bama- 34 Pups-20

This should be a defensive slug fest that emphasizes the running games. Ball control and field position will be huge, and the team that makes the fewest mistakes will win. It will be old school football that many people love, but most of America will hate it. America will clamor for a more fair selection process since UCF is the "real undefeated champion." It will lead to an eight team playoff that uses the four main bowls as the quarterfinals where they host the five major conference champions, a selection from the non-major conferences, and two at large teams. The winners of the four main bowls win then have a football final four.

I really wish we had Anfernee Jennings back. He is a huge difference maker.

I do predict a close win for Bama, as I mentioned in my previous post (24-21 or similar). I also think it could go either way, depending on field position and turnovers.

Both teams have great stories of how they got here:
Bama with so many injuries, a new OC, Jeremy Pruitt leaving soon, outside noise with the QB controversy, losing to Auburn, Saban trying to beat another former assistant, and Saban trying to tie Bear Bryant after losing in the last second of the game last year.
UGA with QB injury to result in a true freshman trying to win the NC, the seniors like Chubb and Michel who returned for this very reason, Kirby v Saban, beat Oklahoma in double overtime, UGA trying to win their first title since 1980 and it's essentially a home game for UGA.

There is a reason both teams made it this far, and it is not just because Bama and UGA are the two best teams in the nation. Hopefully, the reason and storyline will tilt in our favor for #17. I am so glad it isn't Clemson or Oklahoma playing Monday.

I will be at the game, about 10 rows up from the field. Unfortunately, my ticket is in the UGA section. I will proudly wear my Bama shirt and cheer Roll Tide all game. I hope for no more injuries during practice the next few days or in the game. RTR, beat the Dawgs!

Earlier this week I said 27-14 but I think I'm going to tweak it a little and say 23-14 due to the fact that I think we'll stall out on one of our drives in the red zone. Either way, to quote the great Joe Willie, "We're going to win the game. I guarantee it." Roll Tide!

Hahahaha, I notice no one is picking Georgia after all the Eeyore shaming this week. Well done guys.

I will give Georgia’s talent a bit more credit than most. I’m a believer in Fromm and I think the kid is a special talent. With that said, I think Georgia’s offensive strengths are too closely aligned with our defensive strengths and our years of building depth will be the difference. I also expect the team is tired of hearing for the last month that they don’t belong here. I fully believe we’ll come out as angry for Georgia as we did for Clemson.

As for the game, I predict that Georgia will come out hard and fast. Feeding off the rapid near home energy they’ll take an early 10-0 lead. Then we settle in and play angry the rest of the way. We tie it by half and pull away in the 4th quarter.

I’m calling 34-24.

Good old-fashioned slobber knocker just like the 2012 SEC championship game--best game I've ever seen in person--last game I got to go to with my son before he died in an automobile accident. We'll be watching this one together in spirit and have decided that it'll be a 23-16 game with the Tide taking #17. Two TDs and 3 FGs to 1 TD and 3 FGs! And just like that game, we'll be yelling "DEFENSE" and "RUN THE D###D BALL!!!

Sorry for the loss of your son. Hope you and he celebrate like I hope my Dad and I do after this one.

It’s that time again. The game is 5 days away, and I for one can’t wait. I think Georgia will put up a few more points than Clemson did, but I think our defense comes out on fire again.

Bama wins 27-17
Man, I was going to take 27-17 but I though I’d go through and see if it was taken. First post...;). Ok, I’ll add another FG 30-17 Bama rolls to #17!!!

Ignore this one see next———

Got to pick one no one has.
