Arm strength is nice, but fans WAY overrate it in terms of the skills needed for a successful QB.
Sure, the arm has to be strong enough to make the D respect it. But beyond that, accuracy and catchability are far more important to being a successful QB.
For example, Bryce Young rode only adequate arm strength to a Heisman and #1 overall draft pick. Because he has unmatched decision making, accuracy and catchability….our WR performance notwithstanding.
I don’t know if the video is real or fake. It doesn’t really matter. Success, (or lack thereof) at the QB position will come from other characteristics.
