I'm starting to warn up to the transfer portal, if you get the right transfers in the portal, you can literally build a championship caliber team overnight..

Are there actual examples of someone building a championship-caliber team overnight?
The current top teams (Georgia, Oregon, Ohio State, Texas) in the playoffs were not built overnight but were contenders last year.
Of course not & should've put that in blue, but, with the stud players we already have combined with our portal players..
We're going to be a pretty good team next year..
Bernard would be a big loss for next year.
We've lost nothing in the portal that isn't replaceable or upgradable. Talking heads are usually pretty empty.
And a top 3 recruiting class begs to differ on talent drop off.
Oregon lives in the portal. Especially skill positions.
