Can this be right? Two QB's from the same school in the same year is a little unusual.............. :eek2:

Bama Mag: Andre Smith profileSan Antonio, Tex.--Out of more than 600 players participating in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Junior Combine, the best of the best proved to be a talented offensive lineman from the state of Alabama.
Massive Andre Smith from Huffman High School in Birmingham was a dominant figure for the Vikings as a junior and that carried over this week when he wowed prospects from around the country with his combination of size and speed.
Measuring in at 6-3, 5/8, 315 pounds, Smith ran an electronic 40-yard dash time of 5.1 seconds in the 40-yard dash on Saturday night on a slow track and on Sunday handled himself well in the one-on-one portion of the combine in pass rushing drills. The performance was good enough to earn him the Reebok Most Outstanding Athlete of the weekend, an honor he says comes from an outside source.

Anyway, Edgewood Academy is a private school in Elmore, AL (between Millbrook and Wetumpka). More than likely he lives in Millbrook but goes to Edgewood.

It is not often you can tie a Movie into Bama recruiting. I really loved the movie the Big Fish. I was looking through pictures of Alabama recently and came across the picture above and recognized it from the movie as Spectre.
The Big Fish
Fab 50 Recruiting ranks Aaron Brown as a top 50 offensive lineman. The early line from Duane Long has Aaron as the best O-lineman in the state. A glittering array of offers already fill the desk at the Brown house including many of the national powerhouses in the South. Brown is 6'6" and 275 and will keep getting bigger. And stronger. And better. Duane sees him eventually in the NFL and Bucknuts sees him stopping at OSU first. Brown is playing now at Cincinnati Princeton.
