After UT's actions when the Great Pumpkin was there, they deserve every beatdown they get..................and I hope this year is a 60 point destruction

Rumors were circulating during the game that Quart’e Sapp had quit the team. Pruitt was asked about it during his post-game press conference, and Pruitt said he asked Sapp to go in the game, and he refused. Therefore, Pruitt asked him to leave.

I didn't understand what that meant until I read the story.

Don't know what's going on, but I suspect it may have to do with a disagreement on how Coach Pruitt is running things. Even so, that will not look good on that player's resume.

Not defending the player, but kicking him off the team in the heat of the moment may have been a bit harsh if he has been a “good ambassador” for the team. I would at least sit him down and have a conversation.

I love it. The delusional fans up there were just giddy at getting Pruitt. Now they are turning in him this quick. I hope they wander in the wilderness forever. The only way this could get better is for Fulmer to fire Pruitt after the Alabama game because he feels like he can turn things around in November due to playing the historically weaker schools. Then they will even be worse the following years because nobody will want to play for a washed up has been coach like Fulmer.

I hope the dumpster fire in Knoxville continues to burn with a bright flame.....................karma has come to town. No wonder nobody wanted to coach them. I bet Pruitt is beginning to regret taking that job
 
What were UT fans expecting this year, he hasn’t even been there a year?

So you would let players dictate when they are willing to play and then just have a talk with them? He did what any respectable coach would do, you refuse to play then get off my field!



You can’t let the garbage men drive the truck. Oh wait, maybe you can. /blue

I’m just saying I would want to gather all the information. If he truly quit on the team, I would tell him to turn in his jersey.

It's a beautiful thing isn't it. I was following the game thread there. Most delusional fan base ever. They have no talent whatsoever other than Trey Smith but rest assure they will be talking about "Natty's" next preseason. With Georgia, Auburn and us the next 3 games I'm curious how many on there will still expect upsets. I would give anything for tua to play all 4 quarters in that game

Couldnt have said it better myself! We go up there and stomp a Tua led mudhole in that puke orange place ! Love it!!
