AP report:
Minnestoa Vikings receiver Randy Moss was arrested after being accused of bumping a traffic control agent with his car.
The agent tried to stop Moss from making an illegal turn, and Moss used his car to slowly push the officer a half-block along the street, stopping when she fell to the ground, police spokeswoman Cyndi Barrington said.
Barrington said the agent, a city employee but not a police officer, was not seriously hurt.
Moss,25, was in jail on suspicion of assault with a dangerous weapon, a felony. Barrington said the county attorney would consider charges Wednesday, and it was unclear whether Moss would be allowed to post bail Tuesday night.

Man, that's wild!! Will he ever learn?

GO BAMA,ROLL TIDE!!!

He's not crazy.

He just knows that the public couldn't care less as long as he produces on the field. He could kill someone and the public wouldn't care.

Just ask Ray Lewis.

Your right IH8Orange, Moss will probably get a raise in his already overinflated pay for this.

"You couldn't play four years and be good enough to cost the University of Alabama thirty yards!"

An irate Coach Bryant to a player who had just received his second fifteen yard penalty of the game.

He's the Mike Tyson of football. All that dubage in college has fried his brain.

Criminal, Thug, Pro athlete. Why is that always in the same sentence? His money will let him break the law and his ego will tell him this is acceptable. I lost all respect for him when he said he dosent give 100% in every game and also said why should he? Until the National Felony League cracks down on the players and the poor excuse of a players union finally says they will not support this type of behavior I WILL NOT follow any pro team in any sport. Plus I live in Atlanta And we do not have a Pro football team here. RDT

The guy has some SERIOUS problems!

I was watching ESPN the other night, and they showed Dante Culpepper, absolutley CHEWING OUT Randy Moss on the sideline, because he missed an easy pass, and Moss only made a half-hearted effort to get it. I mean, Culpepper was FUMING!

This is the kind of crap that is going on at UT. No, not from Fulmer or Clausen, but from other good players on the team who value teamwork.

"There is absolutely no point in looking backward or dwelling in the past. We have an exciting building plan in place, an exciting team on the field, many exciting young players, and several seasoned players who are looking for ways to finish their careers with a big bang. They need for Bryant-Denny Stadium to be full and charged up to make a very dangerous opponent feel uncomfortable."

You're right TiM. Culpepper was ragging him hard for his lack of effort. I saw the play and Moss didn't even try to catch the pass. It was if he was saying,' if it aint between my numbers, I'm not gonna try'. The sad part is that he didn't seem to care that Culpepper was upset and didn't even look Culpepper's way when he was ragging him. He has got some 'real' issues.

I disagree. I think RM does have some type of mental problem. Think back to all the crazy things he has said and done over his career.

The Vikings are scared to get rid of him b/c they know if he would act right he would be the best player in football. I would give my right arm to have the kind of talent RM does and he's absolutely throwing it all away. I dont think he ever gets back to being the player he can be until he gets some type of help for his mental condition.

Wow!

Not a single poster has reverted to the "He is innocent until proven guilty" line.

As with Iverson, let's see how this plays out. I cannot believe that he is stupid enough to push a cop with his car for a block. If he is that stupid, better that he be put to death so he doesn't pollute the homo sapiens gene pool any further.

Them DR. Seuss stockings he wore when he was playing at Marshall must have cut his circulation off all the way to where his brain was supposed to be.

That "wacky tobacky" didn't help his mental state, either.

As long as the Vikings keep Moss, they will always have a drug problem. They'll keep getting drug up and down the field.

I think Randy Moss and Keyshawn Johnson are evil twins.

He'll get away with it because he's a famous athlete. It's amazing how folks in the media want to apologize for him.

It goes hand in hand with the statement that Jimmy Johnson once said that if Charles Manson could run a 4.2 second 40, someone in the NFL would draft him.

Bottom line, the most horrific and appalling behavior is tolerated if a player/athlete can do some amazing things.

Would Randy Moss even still be with the team if he was the teams 5th WR that seldom if ever plays? Of course not.

Randy Moss is nothing but a piece of trash and a thug at the least. What a loser. He should be banned by the NFL for the remainder of the season for his actions.

Will someone please send me a Guthrie's plate! And extra sauce!

As a Bucs fan I must rebuff the "evil twin" remark regarding Moss and Keyshawn Johnson.
Johnson is abrasive, I'll give you that, but Key has fifty times the heart that Moss does. He goes after every pass, regardless of the punishment he is going to take. And, since he is usually going over the middle, he takes more than his share.
Randy Moss is simply a punk with incredible, God-given talent.
