Question: Realistically what are the chances of Cody being truly ready for LSU game?

Junior nose guard Terrence Cody (sprained knee) was lightly jogging during Tuesday's practice. He wore a protective sleeve/brace on his right knee, and even hit a blocking sled that just happened to be in his way while circling the practice field.

Just returned from Alabama's practice and wanted to pass along this news ...

Crimson Tide nose tackle Terrence Cody, while not practicing, was jogging around the practice fields without help. It's a vast leap from this time last week, when the big man could barely operate a stationary bike because of a sprained knee.

Those close to Alabama's program have maintained all along that Cody should be back and healthy for next week's showdown at LSU. Given what I saw today, that is a very realistic expectation.

If he was jogging yesterday, he will be available for LSU. I like the fact that our mods here have been telling everybody he will be ready. I learned a looooooong time ago who to "listen" to on this site. Sometimes its hard or it might not be what you want to hear, but our guys on TF know what they are talking about.

cody will play, and even if it is only half the plays normally played, we will still have a very strong run stop team. the good news is that lsu this year is very vulnerable to the run themselves.
