Roll Call: Where is everyone from?

born in VA. lived in AL, FL, DE, NJ, and currently reside in WV. my wife's a yankee from NJ but had the good sense to go to school at Bama...where we met, and the rest is history...so they say. gotta love a woman who'll scream at the tv as loud as i will when the TIDE is playing. ;)
 
Born in Birmingham at University Hospital. Raised in Birmingham, Branchville and Tuscaloosa and I lived 7 years in Mobile as an adult. I now call Henderson, Nevada home.
 
I was born in the beautiful lake city of Guntersville, AL. I have lived in Marshall County all my life. From G'ville to Grant to Arab and now just below Grant again in a place we call Preston Island.

Fishing is in my blood! Just don't get to go as often as I'd like.

Some of my earliest memories are of me and my dad listening to Bama play football on the radio. I still recall those 3 channel days when you only got to see Bama play maybe 3 times a year including the bowl game.

I graduated from the school of hard knocks but dreamed of playing ball for coach Bryant. I went through the first 6 grades of school at G'ville but my family moved to Grant just as I was getting ready to play football. For those not familiar with Grant the high school here doesn't field a football team. :mad:

I believe I could have played football back then but will never know. I was athletic, as I was an All County B-Ball player and an All County Cross Country runner. I am 6'6" tall but only weighed 200 lbs at the time. We didn't have a weight training program either. I QB'ed a many of pickup games and have to admit I wasn't bad either.

Dreams I'll never see! :frown:

Born in Columbus, GA. Raised in Phenix City, AL and now residing in Smiths, AL. Wife graduated from UA in 1990, I attended UA from 1983 thru 1985. We love football season...
 
Well, I was born in New York>>>>

Northern by Birth, Southern by the Grace of God! My parents moved us to Huntsville when I was 2 and then to B'ham when I was 6. Went to Homewood for my entire schooling prior to enrolling at the Capstone and got my degree in 1984 from The Greatest School on Earth!

As a side note, both of my older sisters also graduated from Alabama!

Now my wife (of 20 years) and I live in Hoover!

I be from

Birmingham originally. Went in the U.S. Navy and served on submarines for 23 years. Retired off the USS ALABAMA (SSBN731) (B) and live in Summerville. S.C. about 1/2 mile off i26, therefore myy e-mail address.

Sorry if some spelling wrong. i be in Frankfurt on the way back to the U.S. from Iraq and the letters on this here machine aint like the american types.
 
I got out!

I was born in Huntsville (Huntspatch, Huntsvegas same place) and moved to Fayetteville, TN when I was 13. Graduated from Lincoln County High in '89 and made a B-Line for the border. Alabama/Tennessee border that is. I have lived in Decatur, Cullman, Huntsville again, Florence and now reside with my wife and 2 up & coming tidefans called children in Athens, AL.
My parents and brothers still live in Tennessee (my youngest brother is a 'vile. He was a baby when we moved up there and I am of the belief that someone gave him some kind of orange colored poison that we have not been able to identify. I still hold a firm faith that an antecdote will be found and that he will be cured.).

I'm a native of Florence, born and raised here. I can't believe how many people we have on here that have a connection to Florence, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, and Muscle Shoals area.
