Roll Call: Where is everyone from?

I was curious as to where everyone is from. I understand some folks have it under their user name, but I thought it would be neat to see how many different places are represented. I'm also curious where everyone is originally from as well as when and how everyone became either a fan and/or an alum of the university.

As for me, I'm from Selma, AL and currently reside here although I may be moving to the Nashville area soon. I have several relatives that also graduated from UA so I was pretty much destined to graduate from there as well. I had slight interest in going to a couple of out of state schools but not enough to seriously consider it. How about everyone else?

Born and raised in Marietta, Ga, and that's about as exciting as it gets!!!!! But luckily I was saved by my dad's family who are all from North Alabama and all live there so they taught me to love ALABAMA like the rest of em!!!!

I'm from Virginia (born and raised) but my parents moved to Huntsville not long after high school. Graduated from Bama in 1983 and again in 1987.

Alabama native, Elmore County, now living in Virgina Beach, Va by way of the rest of the world. Retired from the Navy 3 years ago. Lots of TIDE fans up this way, mostly in Richmond area where we meet at a sports bar to enjoy the game when not attending.

Franklin's really a great area. I have many music friends there. Saffire, one of my favorite places to eat is there too. They also have some pretty good music acts there on the weekends. Maybe you know a good friend of mine by the name of Will Mitchell. Definitely there are quite a few toothless ones there but some great folks live in the area as well. Ashley Judd's home is, or used to be, up around Leapers Fork. She's still quite a babe.

Oh, by the way, I'm from T-Town. Born and raised. Attended the University in the mid sixties. Now living in Los Angeles. RTR
