One of my best friends growing up and roomate at Bama lived in Griffin, GA throughout his middle school and high school years. I've become buddies with a couple of his UGA grad friends that he went to high school with. Good guys over there in Griffin.

I was born in Huntsville BTW and grew up in Selma, AL (birthplace of Mia Hamm, home of Shug Jordan, and home to many a Barner). Don't know if I mentioned that.

I listened briefly to 101.1 in Nashville and it was mostly freak music and bad freak music at that. I like what is sometimes considered freak music (i.e. Widespread Panic, some Phish, etc.), but the stuff on that station sucked. No offense if you like it. 105.9 was easily the best station up there. My main beef with the radio up there is that I've gotten use to Birmingham and Mtgy. radio stations which are VERY good. (106.9, 100.5, 99.5, 104.7, and Finebaum in Bham and 95.1 and 740 AM in Mtgy....all very good stations). Other than that and a few too many UT fans, I like Nashville a lot.

Grew up a gator fan in NW Fla (Freeport HS) mainly to irritate my entire family, none of whom ever went to college but all of whom breathed Crimson and White! Moved around country after HS before winding up in Eutaw then Livingston, graduating from Livingston University and moving up to T-Town in 81 for Master work. Since leaving been to D.C., Ohio, Nev, and currently reside in Cochran Ga. RTR!@!

I was actually born across the state line from Silas in Waynesboro, MS. My dad moved around a lot with his job, so after I was bron, I lived in:

Birmingham, AL
Florence, S.C.
Amhearst, VA
then, Silas, AL
went to junior college for a year in nearby Gilbertown, AL
attended two years at Livingston (Univ. now West Alabama), AL
and, finally, finsihed my degree at MC in Clinton, MS

Twenty Five years ago I resided in East Lake/Center Point and went to Banks High School. Spent 1 year as a State Police Officer the next 22 years in the U.S. Navy I now call Indiana Home for one more year. I will be moving on to Fort Walton Beach July 2005. East Lake/Center Point was home for 16 years.
