Randle plans to officially visit Auburn this weekend
It's his first lesson in Barner hating.Randle plans to officially visit Auburn this weekend
Ehhh...it doesn't bother me at all. If that does happen, he may be a prolific player. If he comes here he may be a prolific player. But either way, it's going to take 10 more people on the field with him that are just as good at their respective positions to make him look his best. I think he has that best opportunity here or at LSU.Another scarier thought: what if Auburn will let RR play quarterback and turn over the whole offense to him, a la Pat White?
Sorry for being negative but thats what our experience with new QBs has taught us.I didn't mean to imply that you'll have a Qb like Lee who'll keep on throwing pick sixes. But whenever you have a first time starter at QB the team struggles.People here are saying that the team would be better in some ways than the 12-2 team.I was just curious to know how?
Spoke to a barner this morning, this is the biggest news to hit their campus in years. they are really in a tizzy over this. I can't state how low brow it seems to have an assistant recruiting you at one school then switch in mid steam and try to sell a recruit on a different school. Sometimes the recruit requests the visit and the coach isn't going to turn him away but in this case I would be surprised if that was the case.He was supposed to visit Ok. State, but is visiting the Barn now. He was being recruited by the Ok. State RB. coach that is now at Auburn. Long-shot to get him, regardless.
Agreed. If he plays in the state of Alabama, I highly doubt it will be for Auburn.Spoke to a barner this morning, this is the biggest news to hit their campus in years. they are really in a tizzy over this. I tried to warn him that its probably a 95% chance he will be at LSU and he's just enjoying the process. You always want to take your shot but I don't recall the last time a top name got pulled out of Louisiana. I only think we have a slight chance at best
Well, there was Joe McKnight that got pulled out of LA. I don't think Randle will end up at the Barn, but I do think we have better than a 5% chance.I tried to warn him that its probably a 95% chance he will be at LSU and he's just enjoying the process. Better than 5%? Sure, I'll buy that, I think he's taking Bama seriously. Great shot? I don't know . . . looks more like a long shot right now, but it's not a done deal.I don't think Randle will end up at the Barn, but I do think we have better than a 5% chance. . . . I think we still have a great shot he'll end up in crimson.
Means very little as many times as he has visited unofficially and as well as he knows the players, the school, and the coaches. He obviously wants to take his opportunities to travel out of state. The fact he isn't taking an official to LSU
Crimson glasses, amigo. Neither team has an established quarterback, but three of LSU's do have experience as a starter.our QB situation over the next four years looks better for a WR than LSUs. McElroy, Jackson, Mccarron vs. Jefferson, Lee, Shepard
Yeah one has experience throwing TD's to the enemy, one got hurt and wasn't very good to begin with, and Jefferson has looked ok I'll admit.Crimson glasses, amigo. Neither team has an established quarterback, but three of LSU's do have experience as a starter.
Lol... you're going to make statements like that and then accuse someone else of having a colored view of the football landscape, now that's funny.Crimson glasses, amigo. Neither team has an established quarterback, but three of LSU's do have experience as a starter.
Does Boise State and Ohio State come to mind? Both teams had a first year starter, one a red shirt freshman and the other a true freshman. Both did very well.Sorry for being negative but thats what our experience with new QBs has taught us.I didn't mean to imply that you'll have a Qb like Lee who'll keep on throwing pick sixes. But whenever you have a first time starter at QB the team struggles.People here are saying that the team would be better in some ways than the 12-2 team.I was just curious to know how?
