Well, that and Turkey is basically an Asian country.
Well they are both European and Asian like the Russians. But they have wanted to be seen as more European in trade and government. The problem is that they are just as likely to start a war with the Russians as the Russians are to start one with them and when the #1 best selling book in your country is Mein Kampf it’s pretty telling on where you are are on human rights. Plus they openly deny the Armenian Genocide.

I don’t really think it’s in the EU’s best interest to add them while the Russian issue is so volatile.

Turkey no more belongs in NATO than Russia does.

Gotta draw the line somewhere.

with The reports that Belarus will join the fighting, I guess all the talks of negotiations in Belarus tentatively scheduled for tomorrow was all a ruse to draw out the Ukrainian leadership.
