Bottom of 5th: ground out to short, 1 down. Briski walks the next batter on 5 pitches. Runner on 1st, 1 down.
Bottom of 5th - continued: strike out for 2nd out. runner of first, 2 down. Base hit to right field. Tennessee now has runners on 1st and 3rd, two down.
Bottom of 5th continued: Line drive base hit to LF, run scores. Now 4-0 Tennessee. We need to change up what Briski is throwing because they are lighting her up right now.
Bottom of the 5th continued: Tennessee has runners on 1st and 2nd, 2 down. Hot line drive to 3rd snared by Taylor for the 3rd out. Good thing she caught it, or it would be another run.
BAMA has two more at bats to try and do something, but right now we don't look very sharp at the plate. 4-0 Tennessee after 5 complete.

If Tennessee has these two pitchers throw like this the rest of the year, no one will beat them. We choked away our chance to win this series yesterday.

Tennessee challenging if Taylor left early. Doesn't look like it, but they're taking a long time. Call stands. Hawkins strikes out swinging at two bad pitches. 1 down. Well we’ve finally had it happen. We out scored UT and lost a series for the first time this year. Hopefully we can rebound this weekend.
I hope we can bounce back this week against South Carolina. We need to end the year strong, so a sweep would be nice. I hope we're not going into a hitting slump at the wrong time of the year. Tennessee just sucked all of the life out of our bats last weekend. Time for a bounce back to end the year. Roll Tide!
Man, I'm glad we won the first two games versus SC but 3-2 and 1-0? That's 4 runs in two games. Does SC have some great pitching or are our bats slumping at the wrong time of year. We need to buckle down at the plate.
It's clear, Vandagriff is not good in LF. LoJo is much better fielder. Maybe a better fit at RF? I have my doubts. In '27, Roman in CF, LoJo in LF and AV in RF?
Sophomore jinx I think. She has taken a step back in every category this season but I expect she will have a big year next year. She is a phenomenal talent. A potential 4, if not not 5, tool player.

Second place in the SEC! Not bad considering our preseason ranking was 9th. This team has exceeded every expectation. Hitting has cooled off recently. We should get a top 4 seed in the NCAA tournament which is a much easier road than 5 - 16. Need the hitting to come back to make a run in OK City.
With the returning pitchers and position players, next year should be fantastic. For all that doubted Murph, Bama is back. Congratulations on a great regular season and much luck into tournament play. BAMA U. I love this team.
Brother, this is the post of the year. We’re about to enter tournament play with at least 3 arms that can compete at a high level. If the offense gets back on track we could make some noise in the post season. RTR.
