The players quit on the coach because he doesn't hold the QB to the same standard of accountability as the other 21 starters. And I'm done.

I know "recruiting" is the answer, but I'm just tired and familiar with losing.
What's really sad is that while we are sorely lacking in talent, the game today shows we have an even greater deficiency in guts, backbone, and heart.

Some of those players don't seem to give a rip whether they win or lose.

This has to be the most embarrassing loss we have experienced in a long, long time. This Tide team was so unprepared that they had no business even being on the field today. The entire team, coaches included, should have just stayed home and watched other teams play on TV. JMHO
Quit blaming the coaches! It's not their fault. They are doing the best job they can with what little talent they have to work with. As Nick said in the postgame, our team has shown zero improvement since the Tennessee game. Although he took responsibility for the loss, it was turnovers and lack of overall execution that lost this ball game, and that falls on the shoulders of the players.

You know, the coaches can yell, scream, hand out candy and use all sorts of motivational techniques and if the players are not willing to do their part then it's a mute point. When this next recruiting class comes in the seniors on the team better be awfully afraid. Those guys out there on the field are just not performing.

Don't be surprised to see twenty freshman see significant playing time next year. As the old saying goes you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink!

Well, Saban apologized and took responsiblility. Hearing his post-game comments I think he is realy looking forward to the future, getting out of this year and to the next.

Speaking of recruiting hope this doesn't hurt with Julio. I'm sick to my stomach but NOW LET'S GO AFTER THE ONE THING WE HAVE LEFT.......AUBURN!!!!! If we can win that game I can at least have a little happiness between beating Tennessee and Auburn.

I did not have the opportunity to watch or listen to this game. It is probably a very good thing. I don't even know how an SEC team, much less one who has taken 2 top 10 SEC schools to the wire, can LOSE to ULM. I don't even know what to say...

Get your head out of the sand IT'S NOT TALENT!!!

Please.....you're trying to tell me we have talent to any sufficient degree? If you believe that, then you are simply uninformed. I agree lack of execution was the main reason we lost today, but when "lack of execution" is the reason you lose EVERY week, then I would say that can ultimately be traced to lack of talent.

Heard the same apology. He said this is not the way it will be in the future. I'm trying to let those words salve my hurt feelings. And I agree with the post that said this is rock bottom. I have faith it will be turning point. Maybe stupid, but what other choice is there about how to feel now?

I've always felt it would take 5 years before we're a contender again. What happened today is not surprising to me. It takes more than a year to break bad habits.

You can if you can make him thirsty enough and from what Ive been reading Bama doesn't look thirsty anymore. (unmotivated)

I hope there's a miracle in the works for next week.

Ok smart guy, how about informing me how much more talent ULM and MSU have than us??? How many of those ULM players were recruited by SEC schools?
