Someone did something to the Bear statue

I've got a BAD BAD taste in my mouth right now for them. I mean, I am freaking OUT I am so angry at the barn fan base! They said something SO unspeakable, that I can't repeat it here, but my god if I get a hold of them, well.....I better shut up.:mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2:

My son said that some UGA fans almost burned the tree down after AU rolled it last saturday night. Someone set a match to the toilet paper and had a heck of a fire going.

You have a statute of Shug Jordan - API 1957* Co-National Champions (* denotes NCAA probation for cheating)

You would have a rosy cheek plump 4' tall statute of Terry Bowden - Auburn University 1993* Unbeaten but nobody saw it because we werent on TV (* denotes NCAA probation for cheating)

You would have a big-eared 5' tall statute of Tommy Tuberville - Auburn University 2004* People of Lee County National Champions (* season subsequently vacated due to cheating discovered in 2011)

You would have dual statute of Cheezwhiz and Trooper Taylor doing a chest bump - Auburn University 2010* We won it on the field National Champions (* denotes season subsequently vacated due to federal indictment of Rev. Cecil Newton, Board Chairman Bobby Lowder, Bingo tycoon Milton McGregor, YellaFella Jimmy Rane, football legend Pat Dye, Rev. Chette Williams, and bookkeeper Wayne Hall)

All 4 statutes would a have a "Press for Audio" button (a convenience for all AU Fans who cant read the bronze scroll below the statute) where Rod Bramlett and Stan White would homerize how AU was robbed of these championships.

Little children would run up the walkway (which happens to inscribe David Housel's speech nazi-ing Alabama) confusing the statutes as Disney characters.

If our young men in Crimson have any school pride a few pics in the locker room should get em focused and fired up... can't see that being a problem this week though!

I know this is from the first page but the fact is those trees are already dying (articles have been written about it) and it's just a matter of time. However that said it wouldn't take anything to poison one with ingredients in a coke can one could accidentally spill upon the roots. Then again that's just petty but those trees would look quite good with Crimson toilet paper but why copy the most pointless 'tradition' in college FB well maybe second to 'dotting the i'... really really stupid. Props for the eagle flying to midfield though!

Btw when I first saw the thread title I figured someone had tagged the statue or scratched it, etc. However as pranks go this one is in fairly good humor & is one of the better things about college FB.

In the winter of 1983, some Barn students came to T-town and planted grass on the Quad spelling out the AU symbol, a kind of grass that grew taller and faster than the grass already on the Quad.
Come spring, their little symbol grew up in the grass. I thought that was non-destructive and funny.

Sorry. I can't lighten up when someone (in this case a barner) says the things that one of them said to me yesterday. It's okay. The police intervened and now that scum bag has a legal issue to deal with. Kind of a funny story, other than what came out of the scum's mouth. He basically threatened the safety of my family and another barner actually helped me to get him to say it again so it could be recorded and turned over to the police! The other barner actually went on record as a witness against the sum bag. So, all things considered, not all barners are bad!

Well, thats certainly something they should know about down there. I guess its only a matter of time before they drop off a cow that has been genetically engineered to have the au symbol on its side.
