The Church Thread: Chapter I Verse 2?

Archaeologists have uncovered a one-of-a-kind artifact near the Sea of Galilee that may reveal new details about how early Christians practiced baptism.

The 1,400-year-old artifact was recently found in the ancient city of Hippos, a prominent bishop’s seat during the Byzantine era, according to a March 30 press release shared with Fox News Digital.

The city was once the only Christian city around the Sea of Galilee, controlling territory associated with Jesus’ ministry.

The marble block was found in a hall of baptism called a photisterion. It may shed light on “a stage of the early Christian baptismal rite that has until now gone unrecorded,” officials said.

The U.S. Catholic Church experienced an estimated 38% increase in adult converts over the Easter weekend, driven by young men in their 20s, according to an analysis of data from 140 of the nation's 175 dioceses.
We had several baptisms and confirmations this Easter season and we are a very small parish. Both of the adult baptisms were young men. I’m also seeing an increase in young women wearing their head coverings in church. I’ve been saying it for some time: the young people are the ones leading the church back to the old ways and I’m here for it.

According to eyewitnesses, the room erupted in laughter as Thomas hung his head in shame, while Christ placed Thomas's hands over his wounds.

"You guys are going to be cool about this, right? Like, maybe not write this down in your books or give me any nickname or anything?" asked Thomas.

"Oh, I doubt we'd do anything like that," snickered Matthew. "Don't worry, buddy."

I've got a question for the thread. Who all is currently in weekly group Bible studies and what are y'all currently studying (a certain book of the Bible, topic, etc.)?

My friend and I are currently doing a dads and sons Bible study for highschool kids. We've got several dads and their sons who attend. We are currently teaching them how to defend their faith and the common questions and accusations they will get confronted with from non-believers.
I'm helping lead a Bible study now on the book of Isaiah with younger and older men. It is a great mediator between the Old and New Testaments.

This is my first time having done an in depth study of Isaiah. We are diving deeply into the prophecies: Assryian/ Babylonian Exiles, Timing of Jesus birth, End Times, etc. Never realized how jam packed this book is.

We are also meeting in my dad's woodworking shop of all places..
