There is nothing at all good about this game, unless you consider having to score field goals reliably “good”. Penalties are suddenly a problem again. Maybe they never stopped being one.

We still have 2 coordinators that can’t scheme. We have an OL that can’t pass block and a QB that can’t pass. It’s all ugly, especially when you realize the other QBs must be even worse…

The Good: Alabama linebackers attacking the running backs.
The Bad: Penalties
The Ugly: Milroe's pocket awareness and inability to read a defense.

The Good: The fact that with today's rules a college team can now be completely replaced in one off-season with extremely positive results (See Colorado).

The Bad: We had 5 mediocre or unproven OL's to hit the transfer portal and we got ZERO upperclassmen OL from the portal to replace them that could be helping right now. Freshmen OL's are almost always not a great idea.

The Ugly: A 3 year run of multiple position coaches not doing their job to develop fundamentals, technique, and coach players up. It really doesn't matter how many top recruiting classes you bring in if you then do a poor job of coaching them up. And I'm including S&C this year because too many big heavies are too heavy.

The sickening: We have never beaten Texas in Tuscaloosa, or ever when their starging QB played the whole game.

The obliviousness: All the claims, statements, catch phrases this team felt like they needed to make, and were going to make this season because of the improvement they made.

The Sad: all the streaks that went down.

Good: The defense is improved over the Golding Clown Show. The tackling is better. The pre-snap positioning is better. The pass coverage is better. None of these are where they need to be but there is at least incremental growth. I'm glad Golding's at Ole Miss, now.
I agree, however we still lose track of the QB and let him run free for big 1st downs, and we don't cover the TE well. These are continuing problems.

I think that's more of a scheme issue. Every scheme has weaknesses. These have always been issues. I think it's just part of the deal

Bad: The OL looks so much like it did in the Mike Shula years that I started scouring the sidelines for Bucket Step Bob.

Ugly: The Texas OL looked like our 2020 unit. Ewer could have pitched a tent in the pocket and started his campfire back there.
This.

Alright.....
The Good.........We are Bama. Losses are not part of the tradition. So there are better days ahead.
The Bad.....We have a most serious situation with the OL. To fix it...we would need a fixer. The guy who won as an OL coach has an office in Austin nowadays.
The Ugly.....the guy I see in the mirror every morning. If ugly could be marketed....I got no money issues...
But UGLY at Bama? Watching QB after QB after QB camping out while surveying which receiver to throw to because most of them have beaten the coverage. Also......watching Rees struggle because of the obvious. No clue whatsoever.

Good - Kicking game. When the kicking game is the good part of the game it shows how bad the offensive play was during the game.
Bad - Defensive play in the 4th quarter. They held Texas to 13 points throught 3 quarters, but gave up 21 in the 4th quarter. That was a total collapse by the defense.
Ugly - Offensive play all around except for maybe the WR's.

Also, this might not be the right place to bring it up, but who trains the workers at the game? I sat in a different section than I had before and I asked could they tell me which direction to go and I had several tell me that they didn't know. I would think with them being trained they would be able to direct fans in the right direction.
