Coaches are scared to say anything negative because recruits will go elsewhere. This was going to implode from the beginning. Getting money for nothing will almost always corrupt.

Sure you get the money for nothing, but the chicks are free.Coaches are scared to say anything negative because recruits will go elsewhere. This was going to implode from the beginning. Getting money for nothing will almost always corrupt.
That's the way you do it...Sure you get the money for nothing, but the chicks are free.
I will see myself out.
College Football Troll is a satire page. They might be mostly on the mark here, but in general, i wouldn't trust much that comes from that page. It's typically a mix of facts and exaggeration. This comes from a FB site called "College Football Troll." It isn't anything we haven't heard, but it does confirm what we have heard.
Thanks for the heads up on the typical posts from that site.College Football Troll is a satire page. They might be mostly on the mark here, but in general, i wouldn't trust much that comes from that page. It's typically a mix of facts and exaggeration.
Yes. It was always just a cover...The thing is that NIL is supposed to compensate the athletes for the use of their Name, Image or Likeness.
I'm just not seeing much commercial use of their Name, Image or Likeness.
Am I missing something here...?![]()
I get it. I used to keep up with recruiting and spring practice very closely. Now I pay almost no attention. I'll figure out the roster as fall camp ends. At least I won't be wasting my time on guys who won't even be there. Unless a freshman is playing I don't really care about him because there is a good chance he won't be there in two years. What I'm about to write probably fits as well in the thread about a "new mindset" regarding CFB/Bama, but I am strictly trying to focus on that 3.5 hours (most) every Fall Saturday and pay zero attention to all the "noise/rat poison" such as transfers, NIL,. Obviously, I still enjoy the games themselves but 99% of the other stuff I try to avoid. That may be a strange or even "dumb" mindset but I'm gonna try it for 2025 at least and see how it goes.
I've been wondering that same thing from the very start. NIL stands for name, image, and likeness on paper, wink winkThe thing is that NIL is supposed to compensate the athletes for the use of their Name, Image or Likeness.
