The Upcoming Schedule Is Promising

Honestly looks like 5-3 to me unless team makes a turn and gets healthier. Also might depend little on Bediako and how that plays out. Hopefully they finish conference play strong but last what two years finish with a limp although those were a brutal schedule.

Wrightsell got a knee tested and it was negative and should be able to play!

Honestly (and I thought this before the Beds ruling), I think if we could finish 6-2 it would be great OR 5-3 that's solid.

Split the away games at 2-2 and win the home games, but the problem is we've slipped up at home to some teams we shouldn't have lost to, which is why I'd lean to a 5-3 finish.

Well we started 3-0. That was a huge win last night.

I think 4-1 down the stretch is very doable, I almost expect it now. At UT is obviously the biggest hurdle.
@Georgia is going to be very tough. They got their leading scorer back from injury and beat UK on the road. It will take some very good performances to knock them and UT off on the road. Those home losses to both UTs and the road loss to Vandy (winnable game except Philon half game and Sherrell whole game were not available) are killing us in the league race. We win those and we're 12-1 right now.

Won the 1st 6 of the 10. But we played a game and a half against Arkansas and it showed against LSU.

Philon is banged up.

The two away games against UT and UGA will test us and Auburn, not matter how bad they may be playing, will save it all for us!

I'd love to see us win out and 10 straight, but 3-1 or even 2-2 won't be the end of the world.

I wonder how we guard Josh Hubbard?

I haven't seen CNO try a box and 1 or triangle and 2, but I wondered why we didn't try it against Arkansas when there were 2 guys on fire.

I thought it was strange we tried a zone one time but one of the two hot players hit another 3 and we immediately went back to man.

Against MSU, keep Hubbard contained and they can't beat us, so what do we do? Play 'em straight up with man? OR a Box/1? Either way, who gets Hubbard?

This is where you sit Philon. Play Bethea 15-20.
Would agree but Bethea has been a disaster when in lately. This past game looked like he didn't care and hasn't paid attention in practice and film. Although a healthy Philon is worth a ton in tournaments.

Our national ranking is ridiculously low...seems to me that we are being penalized for playing Bediako even though we barely won more than we lost with him. It also appears that the SEC is being penalized for being a tough league where we beat each other up game after game.

Such is life...

Yeah, the NCAA has no choice but to include us in the tournament, but our path will be brutal... 🧐
