Didn't Arkansas crash and burn this hard if not harder in the SWC, before coming to the SEC, or were they one of the few that survived the implosion back then?

If memory serves me correct, Lou Holtz was the coach then. It is my understanding he left the school in shambles.

I feel bad for the team and their heisman hopeful, there's noway they can be getting 100% attention and direction on the field. Come September this program may just be in complete shambles.

I agree it is bad for McFadden, I really enjoyed watching him run all over tsdtr. As far as Nutt goes...."Run Forrest, Run!!"

I am with you. And dont think for one second that I dont get a sense of relief knowing that it isnt us. Plus its kinda funny with some of the participants being pretty creative (phone records).

I am with you too. It has been past time that the torch of bad press has been handed to some other team. I remember thinking that things couldn't get much worse when fRan left but the Mike Price fiasco was the icing on the cake. I still get alot of off-the-cuff jokes about that from my other-than-Bama football buddies and I was beginning to wonder if we weren't going down the same path after we fired Shula and RR turned us down.
