I personally couldn’t care less about offending Muslims - overall it’s a religion of hatred and oppression which hasn’t lifted people up but rather kept them down.

I’d rather not see posts like that from the POTUS, but literally don’t care if it offends them.

I think it's more like 95% of the stuff people lay on that segment of the world's population is perpetrated by 5% of it. The basis of stereotypes is that they are rooted in fact. It's just that an entire segment gets pilloried for the acts of the few.

Addendum: For the same reason I(a committed agnostic) refuse to broadbrush all of Christanity for the work of Christian nationalists, and the many sins of the Roman Catholic church over the centuries. By and large, good people populate the overwhelming numbers in the world's religions.
