Did you see South Carolina play last week? They looked absolutely awful on offense. Their defense looked pretty good, but it seemed that was mostly because NC State was even worse on offense.
Calling the defense "pretty good" is misleading at best, it was dominating against what was supposed to be a good NCSU offense (time will tell). NCSU had a total of 133 yds of offense and never made it into the red zone...not once.

Now I agree the offense more than offset the defenses performance. Moved the ball at times but really sputtered inside NCSU 30, and then muffed two FGs to keep game closer than it really was.

UGA will struggle to score, but so will USC. Look for low scoring affair.

Sorry ... I rooted for OSU to beat them last week, and I am rooting for Fighting Spurriers in this game. Nothing against Richt, I just can't stand Georgia's fans. If I could count on both hands how many cars or trucks I see with the circle G taking up the ENTIRE back window each day.

Since I am married to a UGA Grad and she played ball there I have to be nice.....that said and the fact that I enjoyed a beverage or 2 during the Tech Clemson game.....here is what I think.

USC won't be able to do much against a decent UGA defense. Cox is much better than these impatient goobers realize....they need a RB that is more of a bruiser but they should handle USC easily if they don't booger up the kicking game.

The 2 problems with this team are:
a. schedule
b. not aggressive enough

I expect them to beat USC, Arizona State and Arky be 3-1 heading into the meat of their schedule and from that point you never know.
