God bless you for that! There has been a 'movement' for wearing black in this week's game.....ughh.
Yeah, stay away from the black movement. Your fans should review our game against UGA in 2008 and against Miss St last year. The "intimidation" factor of wearing black (even just the fans) has no effect on our guys...

Not that it's the end all be all, but what has been Arky's past 3 recruiting class rankings? Just curious.
2011 currently 19th
2010 49th
2009 16th
2008 36th

The numbers are not elite, but the staff has done a good job of evaluating talent and recruiting to fill needs.

The 2009 class was ranked the top DB class in the country, some of those guys have not worked out. The prize of the class was 5 star CB Darius Winston. He should see alot of time this weekend and may start.

We've certainly seen our share of DB flameouts. In fact, without those, our defensive backfield would be a lot stronger than it is...

As for the update from Arkansas....Ely Gold and Cecil Hurt had a radio interview today. Ely did nice but made no mistake about how he felt about Bama being the better team. Cecil sounded to be distracted by something and came off as a little arrogant. I was really a little shocked. The phone callers followed his interview blasted him as arrogant. Not sure what was on Cecil's mind today but the interview was kinda bad.

I love this board. Well mannered DISCUSSION. Any of you Alabama folk, you should go to hogville and read some stuff there. Downright depressing. I appreciate you guys being civil, and I look forward to a GREAT game this weekend. It's exciting because we beat Georgia on the road, and they've won 30 of the last 34 meetings. However, we've won 8 to your 10 in the last 18 times we've met. Good football this weekend, regardless.

Oh, and the camping line has run out of room. Literally.

Just checking arky's schedule for the rest of the year and they really only have au,lsu, and usce as their only remaining competition after Bama. The schedule kinda works out for them to have a good year record wise, with maybe only one loss(Bama of course).Which would put them into a bcs bowl vs maybe boise??? Wouldnt that be a match up worth watching.

If we don't pull off the upset, we can still have a great year. If we avoid serious injuries and managed 11-1 it would be great.

I wonder what the over/under on Arkansas-Boise would be? We beat them 41-14 last time we played in 2002

Thanks - appreciate the compliment. You Hog fans really have the fan enthusiasm. I had the occasion to lecture a couple of times at professional meetings in Little Rock and in Hot Springs back when ARK was still in the old SWC. The emotion (food fights??) was impressive. I look forward to a very interesting and entertaining game...

Regardless of who wins Saturday y'all have a great coach probably 2nd or 3rd in the conference in my opinion. Don't know if Meyer could have done any better had he inherited what Petrino did. Of course coach Saban would have won the MNC in 3 years if he had went to Arkanasas!;)

LOL. We own Auburn. Did they ever finish that statue of Fred Talley

I think y'all should manage to woop them badly. Just watch out for employee's leaking the hotel information of the team and then posting them on the internet, then having goons pulling the fire alarms during the night.

Our recruiting has been better than Louisiana Monroe and Utah's the last 3 or 4 years.

Of course he would. Ole Bobby P still has a chance to win one in year 3. We will know in about 29 hours

If he can pull off a win tomorrow then it is in the realm of possibility for sure. Still think he is in the top 3 coaches in the SEC right now even if he doesn't. Arkansas will not being going away if Petrino stays.
