Yes, in even bigger news, he now writes for Fox, and this is in initial contribution. So, if you want to read it, you can dig it out, on your own.

It alleges Meyers claim an assistant coach (Brian White) committed a "bump" violation, regarding a RB, named Curtis Samuel. So far, all it has led to is the recruit dropping UF from his "top 5" choices.

While no wrongdoing was uncovered based on White's alleged violation, the top recruit that both Ohio State and Florida were pursuing recently announced his final five choices: Alabama, Notre Dame, Miami, Rutgers and Ohio State. No Florida.

Hard to tell who is the villain, since the writer isn't any better than the rat.

I have a friend who is a huge Gator fan. It has been interesting to see him go through the various stages of grief over the last few years. At first, it was:

"He's not going anywhere" then...

"He really does have health problems" then...

"It's funny how all you Saban fanatics think he single-handedly ran Meyer out of town" then...

"Meyer will fail at OSU" then...

"My Lord...Meyer is absolute scum"

When he was at Florida and they flogged OSU for the BCSNC Suckeye fans were all over him and called him every name in the book. Amazing how quickly they did a 180 when he became THEIRS. They deserve each other.

Meyer is obviously a "win at all cost" guy. I'm guessing that's why his ticker can't take it when he falls short. How would you feel if you pushed everyone you knew in front of an on coming train, only to have your hat handed to you in the SECCG?

A two time national championship coach who would not be welcomed on Florida's campus (and probably physically assaulted if he did). I think that tells you all you need to know about CUM.

The allegation, if true (which it apparently was not), would have been minor. However, it does kind of give more insight to his character (or lack thereof). Maybe Bret Bielema (sp?) had a point in his comments about some of Urban Legend's recruiting tactics.:BigA:

Totally agree with the scumbag characterization of Meyer. Always felt there was something slimey and toady about the guy.

Hopefully, Alabama will play OSU in the final BCS NC next January. If that doesn't happen, karma dictates there will be a Florida/OSU matchup in the Sugar Bowl where Florida thrashes them by 30+.

Gator, Seminole & Cane fans are very different than Alabama fans. I don't think they have 2 cares about CUM. They loved Tebow not Urban, that is clear.

I think Bama wants a shot at OSU more than FL, they have moved on.

Clay Travis?? You must be joking to use him as any kind of a credible source. I am in complete agreement about Urban Meyer but Clay Travis is a flame thrower that has never let facts get in the way of a good story. Fox Sports may regret this move.
