Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
My Samsung dryer is squeaking terribly...seems to be something called drum rollers...has anyone replaced these? There's a youtube video...basically requires one to take the dryer completely apart. Not sure I can get it all back together...Question; Should I call a repair person or buy a new dryer?
You got that video? I'll take a look lol.

I've replaced pretty much every part on my dryer and repaired several for friends and family. Dryers are straightforward but can be time consuming.

Greasing the bearings on the rollers and idler may shut them up and buy you some time. Simple but you may have to take it apart up to lifting out the drum out for access.

Here's one of several...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5tG85FDGQM

I'm much better at taking apart than at putting back together.

If you are handy you can do it. How old is your dryer? I usually replace all the rollers, the belt and the idler spring/ pully at the same time The hardest part for me has always been routing the belt around the idler the correct way.
Let us know how things work out

Looks fairly straightforward, actually. Hour/hour½ if I'm taking my sweet time.

I'd check with a repairman first. Get a quote up front though. I might charge 150 parts included if I'm in a bad mood and or hate the person asking. A pro will probably be about double that. Better to fix than to replace completely. Thing has meat on its bones.

Take seebell's advice about asking about doing all the rollers, the belt and the idler. Might as well do them too. They can be purchased as a kit for around 50$.

Dryer only has about 5 years on it...works well even with the squeaking...biggest problem is extricating it from where it is, take to the garage and go to work...thanks for all the advice!!!

I did it to mine. Not too difficult. Give it a go!

Note: I did this probably 6-8 years ago. Your Samsung is probably fancier, and maybe more difficult.

Well I ran into a complication in Sadie's room and had to splurge on a table saw today. The jig or the circular saw with a guide were simply not accurate enough to make the proper rip cuts in the board. Luckily only wasted one before I knew I had to get the tool to do the thing right.

That about completes my woodworking tools set with the exception of a router.

Last night I finally got around to trying to repair a pair of eyeglasses. One of the nose pads broke off - the metal piece from the frame. So first I tried some Gorilla Glue but it never hardened up enough. Next I tried Super Glue - which worked perfectly! Except I accidentally spilled a little on the lens. So while looking up how to remove Super Glue from a plastic eyeglass lens (acetone, btw), I found this vid, which I thought was very useful....
