they made up for the lack of zombies in the first half of the season. wow great episode! cannot wait for next season, Lori needs to be dead soon. i cannot even repeat my reaction too her reaction.
Yah, we felt the same way, though my initial reaction to his explanation was 'could he have possibly have phrased his explanation any worse?'...It's clear by her reaction of Rick's confession that she had the wrong dog in the hunt. I am literally counting down the days till Lori is off the show.
Oh, hell yeah. Lori tells Rick that Shane is dangerous and wants her and Carl to himself, and then she gets outraged that Rick killed him? After Shane set him up? Good job, you stupid twit, now Rick is almost as screwed up as Shane was.Im just wondering about Carl and Lori's reaction to Rick telling them he killed Shane. Didnt Lori kinda hint she wanted him dead. Apparently she cared more about Shane than what she was letting on. I imagine seeing Carl taking it as bad as he was is what caused Rick to go off and telling everyone to go if they felt they could do better.
I can attest to that.never trust skinny chicks named Lori, they are bad news.
I was thinking it might be the man looking for his son, the one Rick met at the beginning of the series before going into town where he ran into Glenn.Excellent episode. I have to agree that Lori is the most despicable female character I've seen on tv in a while.
I'm not familiar with the comics, so I was totally freaked out by the appearance of the hooded figure with the leashed zombies behind her. That was cool.
From what y'all say, it seems like season 3 will be something worth waiting for. Can hardly wait!
Yeah, I'm wondering if they'll ever go back to that character.I was thinking it might be the man looking for his son, the one Rick met at the beginning of the series before going into town where he ran into Glenn.
is she hawt?Yeah, I'm wondering if they'll ever go back to that character.
Still... it's good to have Michonne in the series now. She's a hugely popular character in the comics.
is she hawt?
so, 'no' it is.....![]()
The actress playing her is Danai Gurira of Treme. The roll hadn't been cast when they filmed the episode so that's why we only saw her with the hood covering her face.
I don't see the sense of hope... especially since everyone just found out they're infected. We know The Governor is on board for the next season so they survivors are walking towards bad news.I think you'll see that Lori doesn't die, at least as soon as she does in the comics and not in that fashion, either.
I also think you'll see the show portray her reaction as normal--she was upset initially when she found out Rick killed Shane (as would be any normal person...she never asked him to kill Shane in the first place). When she pulled away, it was after she learned that her son had to put down Shane (tying in with the whole, "he's becoming jaded theme the show has set up).
The show has deviated from the comic enough, and in similar fashion as my prediction, that I think you'll see it play out being centered around Rick, Lori, Carl, and possibly even the baby and how the family unit struggles to survive an maintain normalcy in such a world.
There is a sense of hope in the show, as opposed to the downright despair in the comics.
for me, I think Lori's shock is (1) that Rick had it in him to kill Shane and let it go down the way it did. She's seeing a different side of Rick that didn't exist. And (2) clearly, Shane is the better bed buddy and she's mad that she won't be taking a high hard one from him anymore.I think Lori's reaction to Rick's confession was more based on Rick saying he let Shane lead him farther out because he knew that Shane was going to kill him and he (Rick) "just wanted it to be over." What I got from that was that Rick was saying he was thinking about letting Shane kill him so that it would all "be over" and he wouldn't have to deal with this screwed up world anymore. Seemed to me that Lori was mad because Rick had those kind of "giving up" thoughts.
Oh yes, I've already have TWD withdrawals. I mean Michonne, Merle, Prison, Governor and other surprises have me already excited about season 3. I doubt there will be a lot of "standing around and talking" like there was in the early part of season2.From what y'all say, it seems like season 3 will be something worth waiting for. Can hardly wait!
That is so trashy, but funny. :wink:for me, I think Lori's shock is (1) that Rick had it in him to kill Shane and let it go down the way it did. For a moment there, he sounded like Shane through his ranting. Is it just me or dis Rick practically turn into Shane last night for a moment?
