We all know it's coming...

It is very tough to call this early in the week. My feeling is if they go into the game with a nothing to lose attitude and play d like they have been playing, we will be ok and who knows...Bama 20-17. If it is a Rader-boringass play calling-try not to beat yourselves crap, we will be going home by the late 3rd quarter...Aubies 27-10. Too early to tell. Hope they letem rip!!

RTR!!

I was pessimistic going into last season's Iron bowl, but this season is a whole different story. I am more than just pessimistic, I just hope we don't get embarrassed. And that is not to put our beloved Bama team down either. I have been following college football in this state for my whole life and I have never seen a barn team this good. They are very scary and I just wish we could skip the game and go straight to our bowl game. If we had Brodie, then we would have a chance at a major upset. But without Brodie we are David fighting Goliath. I am going to go to this game even though I really don't want to, but I always follow the Tide and always support them. Oh Lord help the Tide this weekend.

Didn't David beat Goliath ?

Well, we're gonna see how good our defense really is this weekend; however, I see Tubberville being very conservative with his offense and letting his defense force Pennington into mistakes. If AU ever has to turn it on offensively, they got plenty of options to choose from. Bama's gonna have to step it up on special teams and defense to stay in this one.

As much as I hate it, we're at least a year away from competing with these guys:

Auburn 29
Bama 13

:frown:

I don't know an exact score, but I do know this...

In Rivalry Games, especially in-state rivalry games, RECORDS MEAN NOTHING!

Whoever wins this one will only do so by 7-14 points. I pray that after a season of not being able to buy a break, we can catch some and spoil the barn's season. The curse of 1989 will be looming over this game, and after 15 years, it's time for the other side to catch it's hell.

No way on God's green earth will I EVER pick against Alabama, especially when they play the Barn. Some of you should be ashamed. Roll Tide to a big victory! I have faith!

David was called by God.......I don't think God cares as much as we do about the Iron Bowl....JMO. :rolleye2:

No...He doesn't.

But, the analogy can apply to everyday situations, and is a good example of not being afraid to take on a monumental task.

The message of David and Golliath is not so much as God performing the miracle Himself as God revealing the miracle of faith that is within each of us. Now, I'm not saying that God didn't perform that miracle...just that He wants us to meet each challenge with faith and confidence and to give our 100% best.

That's you Sunday school lesson for the day.

Let me get this over with. I will probably have to change one of the quotes in my sig line at the end of the year.

Alabama Polytechnical Institute 38
Alabama 10

Didn't LSU score 26 on Bama just 2 days ago? Isn't Auburn's offense substantially better than LSU's? Seems reasonable to me to think that Auburn can score 30+. I'm sure they'll have the benefit of excellent field position most of the game as well.
