For me...hands down...it has to be his passion for the game. I can't speak for the rest of you but I want someone on our sidelines who shows some emotion. If there was a picture beside "Head Coach" it would be Rich Rodriguez. I realize that the "X's" and "O's" are important but give me a man who feels wins and loses in his soul....that's the kind of head coach I can ralley around.

I don't think that we will have to see any 'deer in the headlights' looks on our TV screens anymore. CRR is very involved in the game.

Does anyone know if he calls his own plays? Does he rely on the OC? Their special teams looked pretty good. I am curious how many of his assistants will come.... also whether he will retain CJK. Of course, it all depends on him accepting the job!

I like that he adapts his offense based on the players he has. Tulane it was a wide open offense, WVU more run option because of the athletes he had. He would be coming to a program with a full cupboard -- way more than CMS had.

I want someone who leaves it all on the field. Win or lose, you know he done his best and had the team ready. I know RR would do that.

He has got to be one of the very top offensive minds in college football. That is huge (especially to a team that thinks 5 fg's is an offensive outbreak).

The other thing is he looks like a guy cannot stand to lose much. I think he will bust his a.. to put a championship quality team on the field and anybody who doesnt like it can take a hike.

I love that attitude.

IMO, the fact he's got some fire in the belly is a HUGE plus. If a player really messes up (e.g. a stupid personal foul), RR would give that player an earfull. I like that.

Of what I've seen so far of him it would be his passion and a winning attitude, for the game. I don't know, there just seems something about him that separates him from most of the others in my mind. I just think the guy is a heckofa good coach.
