The game was very intense for me watching, so I did not take too much notice on their play by play or color, but what I did hear, I thought the two were the best to call our games this year, and I really think that Erin Andrews is a living doll.

Absolutely wonderful to have those guys call the game. ESPN does the best job producing a game and those two do the best job calling a game. Plus, "Todd's Taste of the Town" has always been great! Throw in a little Herbstreet and you'd have the Holy Trininty.:)

The best we have had all year. Brad Nessler, Todd Blackledge, and Erin Andrews are at the top in the business. I love it when they call our games.

Well don't get used to it. I'm pretty sure it will be back to Bumblequist and GD next week. CBS @ 2:30. I agree about Todd and Brad although I kinda like Brent and Kirk they do a pretty good job as well.

Yeah, I like Todd, and Brad's a little aloof, but still many times better than Vern Sunkist.

However, I watched the UF-Ark game, so I still got exposed to the two stooges' weekly UF lovefest.

It was better, but I just wish they had deeper talking points, you know, like the Heisman point every week. They barely mentioned Javy MIA, nor Greg's poor start, considering the press he was getting.

I will say it is less annoying, but I have watched games from back in the 50's and 60's, and they constantly were stating facts over opinions. And rarely had talking points that were rehashed every week. The commentators were also less whimpy, and who cares about a living doll with the nude tape making the rounds prowling the sideline.

Maybe I am just from the wrong era :). I'd rather listen to dick butkus call a game than a gentlemen.

I'm sorry, but did anyone else notice in the Ark-Florida game, what Vern said after Childs caught the pass and ran 75 yds for the TD...then during the officials review of the play Danielson says," it is very close to being knocked out before he crossed the goal line"...and Vern says, "well then would they rule it an incomplete pass".....does he not have any knowledge of the game he is being paid to call.

She is absolutely adorable. :)

I did enjoy the commentary so much more than CBS'. Those two even annoy me during games we're not even playing in.

I heard that too.. I guess it made no difference that the player had run forever holding the ball. I was pleased that the "fumble" didn't occur because the player had been showboating.

Brad Nessler and Todd Blackledge did a fine job and I enjoyed their company. Next week we have Fatboy and Stickboy. I emailed CBS asking for them to push Alabama into the ESPN slot. :pDT_hah: Lot of good that will do.

It was much better, but it still drives me nuts when they don't show things they should.

If there was a flag, show the ref until we know what the call is. Also, show a replay so we can decide if we think the call was good. It kills me when we know there was a flag, we don't know what it was for, and they are showing random shots of the crowd or the coaches, and there's no inication of what the result of the call is.

How hard can it be?
