The 2000 Iron Bowl was cold and wet but I remember an Iron Bowl in the late 70's that was 28 degrees in the afternoon. It felt much colder. The wind was whipping under the open end of the south end zone. By the time the game ended I couldn't feel my hands or the lower half of my legs.
I think it was 1977 or 1978. Only time I remember the ice in my Coke getting larger instead of smaller.

As others have posted my coldest Bama game was that Music City Bowl.

However, I am a living example of the guy in the commercial that finally got tickets on the day of a blizzard. They were Browns tickets when I was in Cleveland on a business trip. I was the only one in our group that went on to the game and thought I was going to lose some appendages.

Senior Bowl 2008-ish. We (the MDB) spent the whole day in mobile, practicing and performing in the sleet, then had to sit through a football game between the North and South and it was miserable. We didn't even get Bama football out of it.

I think the forecast had said it would get up into the 60's, so we weren't prepared.

The 1992 SEC championship game. I shiver even now thinking about it. Some poor soul took pity on me and shared a corner of a blanket. Brrrrr.

The coldest game I remember going to was I think November of 1968. It was a double header at Legion Field. We played LSU and Auburn played Tennessee. I don't remember which one of us played at night but I remember it drizzling rain and very cold. The Barn beat Tennessee and we beat LSU that year.

The coldest game I've ever been to was one that I played in.

I was around 14 years old and playing in a championship game. It was sometime in December and it was about 25 degrees, 30 mph winds, and heavy sleet mixed with snow. It wouldn't have been that bad at 25 degrees but the wind combined with the moisture made it feel like I was being stabbed in the face the entire game.

To make matters worse, the game was played on the old style astroturf. It freakin sucked to be a running back that day. Every time I was tackled it felt like I was being slammed on concrete. Back in those days, we ran the Wing and I so needless to say I got the ball almost every play.

Not fun. At least we won and I had 4 TD's.

1. The first SEC Championship game in Birmingham was not a warm experience.
2. The first Music City Bowl at Vandy Stadium, cold, wet, windy, we played awful.
3. The year the then Oilers played Minnesota the day after Christmas in Nashville at Vandy. Snow and ice for days before. VU did their usual terrible job of stadium maintenance and the steps were clear, but there was a 3-4 inch layer of ice in each row of the stadium so you sat there with your feet on ice and with ice right behind you. If I had it to do over again, I stay home.

I was at the 9-0 Iron bowl and while it was miserable,...
I was there also, and the drain at our feet was clogged with thrash so we were standing in ankle deep ice water. Went to a nearby Sears immediately after the game, bought new clothes and changed in the dressing room. Miserable day!

November 30th, 1990. Cordova Blue Devils played Randolph County in the quarter finals of the playoffs. It was in the single digits that night in Wedowee. My mom and my wife went to the car at halftime with my youngest son who was just over a year old. They didn't come back for the 2nd half. The Blue Devils sacked the Randolph County QB for a safety in first half and hung on for a 2 to 0 victory.

I was at the Music City Bowl in 1998 at vandy. Horrible weather, horrible game.

Also, I was at the Titans-Bills "Music City Miracle" game in 1999. Terribly cold but incredible game!

There is a picture of Bryant wearing a ski mask at the 1976 Liberty Bowl. I watched it on TV (I was nine at the time) and remember the announcers saying how cold it was. I lived in Florence and I recall it was very cold at home that night as well. The final score made it better, however.

I've never really been very cold at a game but got soaking wet at a couple Tennessee-Florida games in Knoxville when I lived there in the 1990s.

My wife went to a national championship game for Jax State in Florence during a snow storm. This was before she met me, so I missed out on that one.

Liberty Bowl, 1976.

Beat the heck out of UCLA, so that helped. CPB at the time said it was the coldest he had ever been. A lot of snobby UCLA fans left with their tail between their legs.

I forgot about that game. Isn't that the one where their fans rattled gravel or coins in empty gallon milk containers or something? Miserable night and a long drive home afterwards.

Those of you who said the VA Tech music city bowl in Vandy stadium are right on. Coldest I have ever been. Mix of sleet and rain so we were soaked then frozen. Va Tech also beat us like we were a Jr High team, so that did not help matters!

1992 SEC Championship.
We were in the north end zone, so we felt the full brunt of the wind tunnel effect.
On the upside, we got to see Langham's interception up close and personal.
It was almost like being there ... oh, wait :)

Coldest Bama game was probably the 1992 Iron Bowl.

Coldest NFL game was Seahawks -Chargers in 2000 at Husky Stadium. It wasn't terribly cold (in the 30's), but it was drizzling.

Coldest - Music City bowl when Ole Miss and West Virginia played (Eli almost brought them back to win in 4th Q). And we were in the nose bleeds section.

Most Miserable game - 2000 Iron Bowl. I didn't dress warm enough and I was soaked (along with the rest of the stadium).

1. Oklahoma vs. Standford in Norman, OK. John Elway was a sophomore, it was raining and about 40 degrees w/ a typical Oklahoma wind. Elway lit OU up...
2. Liberty Bowl, Coach Bryant's last game. It turned a lot colder than anyone expected. Coach Bryant wore a big down filled parka during the entire game.
