actually, this is technically correct You just have to make sure it's completely dry before you try to use it again. Actually my preferred method has always been chucking it in the shower, the dishwasher can get a little hot and melt the plastic if you accidentally set it on a high temp wash.

Now, back to the thread. I think you'll likely see very conservative playcalling for an opener against a much weaker opponent but I'm going to go out on a limb and say screen pass for a 6 yrd gain.
