Why is that whenever someone mentions something about the number of LSU fans posting on this board now and how a couple of them (not ALL, but a couple) seem to steer the conversation toward the same topics, they always point out how Bama fans on other boards do the same. Why does what one fan who may or may not read this site say justify your doing the same thing? A board like this is so grossly biased anyway that when a rival fan tries to bring perspective to it and then gets upset when people rebuke him, I just think, "What were you expecting?"Obviously it is cool for Bama fans to flood and flame LSU boards, but an LSU fan who hasn't flamed anyone and who just wants to talk is getting flamed because he replies in relevant topics. FWIW, I have been lurking on this site for a long long long time, since 2002. I never felt the compulsion to post until the Saban hiring, however. But as you wish, I am done with posting. Have a nice day.
That's not to say that a lot of people don't appreciate their perspective, but most people on these boards have on "crimson" goggles, or "purple and gold" or what have you, so that they tend to get swayed more towards thinking their team has the upper hand. That's how most fans are on these types of boards so why do you think you need to correct them? I'm sure most fans on LSU boards don't read what a Bama fan posts and then think, "Wow, that totally changes my philosophy as a fan. LSU really isn't as great as we make it out to be. Thanks Bama fan that I'll never meet!"
That's why I don't post on another teams message board...they have their own bias' and it's ridiculous to try to change them because they just won't listen to me. Now if you are just trying to lend your perspective, that's fine, but understand it won't always go over well with the biased.
