Clay Travis makes David Pollock sound mature in comparison....

Only a fool gives this guy any credibility. Fans generally like to read negative things about other fanbases in order to feel better about themselves. Clay simply takes advantage of this. Many want to take shots at Alabama right now, but simply know that there is no way they can do it on the football field or the program in general. The only thing people have left is taking shots at someone's intelligence (or perceived, lack there of...). Honestly, when I hear things like this it gives me a little chuckle to know that they are having to stoop to this level. Very similar to just calling someone a racist in order to win an arguement, instead of challenging them with a counter arguement...

did anyone hear him on the roundtable this morning? his basic reason for bama as the dumbest fan base is because "they're just dumb". Said things like us having 90,000 at Aday is just dumb and us going to see the trophy at wal-marts is just dumb.....basically Mr. Travis, you are JUST DUMB with your reasoning. He is just a hack that caught a break with the new Fox Sports network, that prob won't last but maybe another year cause the hosts of their shows are horrible and they only show pac 12 and big 12 games LOL!!!!

He is an intelligent talk show host who knows that people pay attention when he knocks Bama fans or asks Tebow if he's a virgin. He's an immature shock jock, but he knows what he is doing and I doubt he believes any of it. When we get worked up about it, we are reinforcing his habits. That's why he does it.
If we all ignored him when he lambasted Bama, he would probably start talking good about us. But no one listens when he does that.

I'll admit, I personally find him quasi-entertaining, and I do enjoy it when he gets matched or bested in a battle of wits...he can't handle it
