Question: Who is your 2nd Favorite Team

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

The Chicago Bulls because they had Michael Jordan. Some of my fondest childhood memories were watching Jordan and co. cut a path of destruction through the playoffs year after year with my dad. That was the big TV event for us. What a dominant player.

I really like the Oklahoma fans, but still have a bad taste about the team from the Switzer days. Guess I shouldn't hold a grudge, 'cause they did nothing to us while he was there.

Also liked Nebraska under Osborne and Solich. Not so much under Callahan. I like Pellini's football philosophy, but I also think he's a loose cannon that will cause them more grief -- kind of like the football counterpart to Bob Knight.

Oklahoma, they have great uni's and their 77-0 beatdown of fRan won me over. :D I do admit to being disappointed that they didn't go for 100 though.

The Saints...WHO DAT!

Someone mentioned early in the thread about LSU fans going all "jilted lover syndrome" after Saban was hired at Alabama. Not sure that was exactly what I'd call it for me, but yeah...there was definitely something about it that irked LSU fans. So,

<<<guilty...but rehabilitated.

My wife is a UGA grad, so I tend to follow them more closely than other teams. Plus, they share common rivals (UT, AU, UF) with Bama, so its easy to root for them.
