I dont' know what's more fun: watching all the speculation & the "I know for fact that____"

OR

watching the various programs go cuckoo in the transitions of new staff & coaching changes...

It's interesting that the team that said they would have a coach "soon" (TAMU) is not in the news at all today.

Here's the story...

"Told of the flight, LSU athletic director Skip Bertman said, “Are you kidding me?”

He's flying into charlie brown airport, on the corner of mlk and fulton industrial. He'll be lucky to make it to a meeting, thats one rough neighborhood!

I'm sure they will be taking a limo out of there. Yes, that is a rough neighborhood but Charlie Brown is the busiest corporate jet airport in the metro area.

I'm hearing all that, myself.

Concerning Skip, do you think he's gonna say "Yep, they sent a plane down here to pick up Pellini for an interview"?

Concerning the other plane, I think it's a coicidence, there. Probably someone who just went to the Iron Bowl. I can't find any connections with LSU and the owners of that plane, although it's a fact that the owner of the plane from Nebraska are big Nebraska boosters.

TAMU maybe playing Texas hold um, Some seem to think Sherman is a smokescreen for Tedford.

I would agree on all counts, except on Nutt. He's toast, in my opinion.
There are those at sports networks that say he will go. However, from the Rivals site and his PC today it looks like he wants to stay and some in Admin. want him to stay. Could be "iffy" but, I think he is in a better position now with the win on Friday.

Hard to see how they are going to be any better losing their all-world backfield... I keep saying that it is just a matter of time, but he always finds his way out of the jam with a big win.

Nutt's 8-4, following a great season last year. Let's face it...it's not like Arky has done better since joining the SEC for sure. This is the best stretch for them in a while...and a good job by Nutt...especially considering all the distractions. Some say it's due to McFadden and Jones, and I say "Who signed 'em?".

tedford would be crazy to go to tamu, but ego and greed make us do crazy things. IMO, tedford could stay at cal 20 years , no problem! before tedford, cal competed with stanford, now they compete with usc!

Isn't Frank Broyles retiring at the end of the year? If so, that too could be a huge factor in determining Nutt's future. Something tells me that Broyles would not fire him on the way out the door but would instead leave that decision to his replacement, who's likely to be greatly influenced by who else--the rich and influential razorback donors that, according to what I hear, want Nutt gone and Butch Davis brought in.
