I don't understand why it's so great for many reasons:
1) They spend more time talking about Alabama than they do Aubarn (must not be that great if all you do is talk about an entirely different program).
2) The town resembles Mayberry and it has yet to join the 21st century.
3) Their football program ranks (all-time when it comes to championships and such) somewhere above Furman, and somewhere below Ole Miss.
4) Rodeos are the only form of entertainment in that pee-ant town (and maybe those trailer park block parties and KKK fraternity gatherings, but other than that it's nothing).
5) The comparison between UA/AU, Alabama football/Aubarn football, T-Town/Cow-town, is like night and day and their is no equal comparison between the two. It's like comparing Birmingham to New York City.
Claiming "it's great to be an Aubarn Angus Burger" is their way of insincerely rallying around a second-rate program they've been forced to support, but deep down inside, the pain they feel is almost unbearable, but they never want you to see it.
And the Aubarn creed... notice how they only seem to recite whenever they want to bull-crap someone into thinking they're actually decent people.
