Brazil v Costa Rica was a surprise nil-nil. Brazil could not break through. Tried to blame it on the more narrow than usual field. Costa Rica can pack it in when they want to..... which is most of the time.

They looked OK against Argentina but very much played down to Peru. The only reason they pulled that out was the booking that got Peru to 10.

Something is wrong with their passing game in the midfield. That was the worst I’ve seen then in possession in a long while. Maybe it was just masked against Argentina because Argentina will pretty much always dominate the midfield.

Jamaica is trying to stage a furious comeback against Ecuador after going down 2-0 and may be getting their break here. Ecuador had a handball in the box being VAR’d that should award the Reggae Boys a PK to tie it back up.

Well that was certainly a chaotic final 10-15 minutes or so.

I have to say I wasn't impressed with either side really. Too many giveaways and poor defense.

Salomon Rondon was the only player on the field that looked creative in the attack. Glad his club form came with him because it was our only hope of seeing L Tri eliminated.

I watched the replays after the L Tri game last night and they were on Portugal quick.

Feel kind of bad for the Czech’s cause I’m sure they thought they were through.
