Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

I hope CK does what CK wants to do. A family vote, if true, isn't him making his own decision. Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

Well I think his Dad said it would still be CK's choice, but I think he wants the family to give him input before he goes. Maybe he told the parents he was Bama bound and then said the barn while being at the table and told them he screwed up. I've been on t.v. once being interviewed just by our local station and I almost messed my name and position wrong and how long I played.....lol

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

I have tried to be openminded but they must be really selling so crap down there if they are doing this behind all these families back. I guess the parent is coming out in me right now but all these strange switches are just wrong. Again go where you want but when the families are being left out of the loop the recruits are getting fed some bull they do not want the parents to here.

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

However this shakes out I wish Cyrus the best of luck. People need to grow up and realize that 17 - 18 year old kids aren't always gonna do what we want them to do. It's their decision. It's not gonna raise our pay or get us fired if these kids don't do what we think we'd like for them to do. Grow up and show some class.

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

Have you ever been on a car lot just to look and didnt think you could get off the lot without buying one because of the high pressure tactics and once you got off the lot you would swear you would never go back! What do we have to do to get you to sign? I am sure they used the same tactics on Calloway! Why cant they just lay it on the line the way it is and give the kid a chance to go home and make the right decision with his parents! All the bull and high pressue tactics will eventually catch up with the Aubbies. Promise them what they want to hear and forget about it will eventually catch up with them!

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

I think this is just a case where he was sold a pipe dream and this was his last visit and the freshest on his mind. He was about to buy a shiny new car with out looking at what's under the hood. It looked great from his one visit but under the hood the engine is leaking oil. I truly believe he got charmed by some snakes telling him what ever they thought he needed to hear and with no adult there to check them on their lies. Was neat listening to JC today when asked did CK ask him about the barn. He was like yea I told him I aint feeling them at all.

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

Cyrus just needs to pick the Tide and play with his big bro!!!!!!!!!

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

Y'all do realize that by continuing to quote or bring up the Yankee remark, you only serve to keep it alive, right?

Move along.

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

What I do find interesting is how Auburn preaches family but yet pulls kids that no one ever thought they could and with involving the kids family. Cyrus went there without family and his dad said he knew nothing about Auburn until last week. G Robinson the same way from LA and B Calloway. CNS recruits the players and the family. The Barn so family oriented recruits the player behind the families back. Sorry you getting players to commit without talking to the parents. That is just wrong. The same thing happened with S Region when all that crap started.

My impression of CGC and Co now is like the dirty old man in the park offering a child candy to go with into the woods. If he pulled thos crap with my child he would never walk again so I can understand why Cyrus's father is upset.

That's what I'm sayin. I'm telling you guys Auburn sells this BS life at Auburn is a party, who's ready to have some fun kind of thing that gives recruits an unrealistic expectation about what they're in for. They try to be the kids' friend instead of being their coach. And you can bet they talk tons of trash about Alabama. They probably show them videos with subliminal messages making them subconsciously associate Bama with Nazi Germany or something. I gotta hand it to them, they're creative. Completely misleading and unethical, but creative.

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

I hope I get up tomorrow and his letter of intent is at Alabama! If he goes to Auburn it will be like getting a car without a title!

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

I'm going to start deleting these back & forth posts bringing up OreBama's remark. Ignorant sparring is not allowed on TideFans and this stuff is the very definition of ignorant sparring.

Last warning for ALL of you.

I am close to turning in, too. I am mentally exhausted. I hope to wake up and find this thread titled "***Cyrus Kouandjio to Bama!!***"

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

BTW, best post of the day was the guy/girl that replied to this thread reacting to his announcement 3 hours after it was aired. We were all talking about him not faxing and BAM... someone who had no idea he changed his mind lol.

Re: Cyrus Kouandjio commits to the barn but he has not faxed his LOI in

It seems pretty quiet tonight. I know the family meeting will take place tonight. If he makes a decision tonight I'm not sure it would be in our favor. I really don't know, but it seems like he should take some more time. Then again, if it's Bama go ahead and sign tomorrow please.

I just don't know that a kid would so quickly go against his "heart". Then again I thought he'd sign with us today regardless. Obviously I wasn't the only one.
