This is exactly how it feels. I have to admit.... I think a playoff would be more palatable than this. And I've long been against a playoff.

True, but that would just shift the focus a little further down the poll.

Take it for what it's worth but tigerdroppings is reporting Harris won't be released until 7:15 because of contractual obligations with ESPN.

This was the case with the final rankings last year - wasn't released until after the show.

Well, if it's true that we won't know the Harris Poll until after the BCS show, I think we all know as much as we're going to know until the BCS show at 8:15. And, if what we're hearing (and reading) is true, we're in the BCSNCG barring a total change-up from the Harris.

Well, if it's true that we won't know the Harris Poll until after the BCS show, I think we all know as much as we're going to know until the BCS show at 8:15. And, if what we're hearing (and reading) is true, we're in the BCSNCG barring a total change-up from the Harris.

Exactly - if this were a 4 team playoff situation, we'd still be debating on who should be the #2 seed and what team should be #4.

exactly. this is why all of this is so ridiculous. i personally think we're the best team in america, proven so by having many more chances to score against LSU than they did on us back in november. but how all of this plays out today is more like watching "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" with my wife than following sports.
