A guy at the party I was at was laughing. I started yelling at him and he said he didn't know the guy so why should he care. I was too amazed and focused on the game to continue the discussion (though I probably should have thrown down right there). It looked so bad I almost forgot about the interception. Hate it for CJ but hopefully he will have no long term effects from it.

Re: CJ Mosely

At 6 weeks, he'll be getting back to full strength around spring practice. I'm sure his practicing will be determined by his health.

Re: CJ Mosely

Thank goodness it doesn't seem to be as bad as it looked like it was last night. Praying for a speedy and complete recovery for him.

Re: CJ Mosely

Seemed like Dre was upset with JJ's behavior after the play. While CJ was on the ground screaming and Bama players were motioning JJ to get off of CJ, JJ just stayed on top of CJ for a bit eyeballing one of his teammates. They finally got him off and he didn't so much as acknowledge the player on the ground.

I know that doesn't sound like much but to watch the replay, the whole thing reeked of a ̶b̶a̶r̶-̶b̶r̶a̶w̶l̶ mindset that I really don't like to see in a game. I don't ever cheer for players to get injured, but suffice to say I thoroughly enjoyed every pop JJ got from there on out.

I feel so bad for him. I pray for a speedy recovery and good news on the MRI. The dislocation is painful but the key to a full recovery is that the ligaments that stretched during the dislocation were not torn or damaged too severly. God speed C.J.

He was in pain yesterday, but like others have said looks like he'll be OK. I hope it isn't something that will be nagging over time. It makes me realize that these guys really do sacrifice their bodies for the sake of football. Granted many of them (at least on our team ) end up going on and making millions in the NFL. They do take a risk by playing though.

I'm thankful to have CJ in crimson and thankful for all he did for us this year.

I don't have a good feeling about this. The wording is too vague. X-rays appear to be okay. Will do an MRI, and even if it doesn't show anything, there will be a minimum of 6 weeks recovery time. At the very least, he will probably miss spring practice. I hope against hope I'm wrong, but I think he's injured way worse than they are letting on.

Dre wanted to rip JJs hip out of socket...or off his body and beat him with it based on the look in his eyes.

JJ was looking at his own player like he wasn't there...he had an odd look in his eye. A mixture of confusion, anger, and being lost.

The x-ray will only show bone damage, but the MRI is to see if there was any soft tissue damaged when hip popped out. MR is just for assurance that no other damage occurred.

^^ this, plus the MRI will make sure there are no small chips or anything in there. If they find those they will scope them out. If not, and the bone is ok then he's just going to be very sore for a while. that's a big joint to come out of place, AND get back in. Lots of things have to stretch more than they should when that happens...

I was relieved it was the hip rather than the knee. I'm hoping it's nothing more serious than a dislocated hip, but it was still a terrible tackle compounded with a bit of attitude afterward from JJ that really annoyed me.

Yea after seeing the SMU player injury in the bowl game the day before,I had to grimace at the look of the hip right after the tackle. Then for Jefferson to lean on the leg. I wish Dre could have gotten to him, but he would have been thrown out.

No update yet, but this article has an interview with his parents.

Love this quote: :D

The Mosleys said it is when they got to the training room they knew their son was more than OK. He wanted more.

"He was like, 'I want go back out and play because I want to be the MVP," Tracey Mosley said. "So if I know he said that (then) he was fine."
