One could say the same thing about the Democrats. There are a number of people that have in most elections voted republican that in 2020 voted democrat because of Trump. If Trump does not run in 2024 I expect alot of them to return to the Republicans. The Democrats seem to be willing to let them do it.
One of my family members that stayed loyal to Trump even after the attempted coup has recently started to realize that he can be wrong. This was brought on by his response to Putin attacking Ukraine. There are Republicans that are not happy with Trump's response and this could be a good time for the Democrats to take a few more voters away from the GOP. They will not do it though.

I think we should question all US based organizations/companies that have investments in Russia. Because of this war US companies should be banned from ever investing in Russia again. Why do we allow US businesses to invest in countries with authoritarian governments? We stand on our high horse and preach democracy, individual rights and freedom but, I guess all that caring stops when we can make a buck. One day, our reliance on the Chinese economy is going to come back and bite us.

In any event, my thoughts on what should be done is a targeted Just Asking Questions campaign to get people to wonder why exactly so many Senators and Congresspeople have been spending so much time in Russia. I know the GOP has effectively turned “But what about Russia” into some proof the left is crazy corrupt and dissembling but with the war in Ukraine I’m not sure that there is as much support for Agent Orange and his handler Putin as there once was.

Who am I kidding? The people who were supporters of Tucker, Fox, and Trump before are doubling down. However there are still a lot reachable in the middle.

The Administration is missing the opportunity of a lifetime if they don't use the anti-Russia binge as a dragnet to out any and all investments in Russia foreign and domestic. The Republicans and Democrats entangled with Russia should stand public scrutiny, sanction, or criminal investigation for any illegal or unpatriotic relationships with Russia or any of their puppets or oligarchs.

I have already suggested some messaging that i think would resonate. But here are a few more...

- Expanded medicare access
- Lower drug and insurance premiums
- Medical solution to substance abuse
- Carveout for medical marijuana
- Expanded support to mental heath
- Childcare support
- Social security preservation
- Middle class tax relief
- Expanded rural Healthcare
- Expanded access to day after pill
- Expanded training and support for law enforcement
- Reminder of who provided pushed out infrastructure improvements
- Expansion of rural broadband
- Worker training to close skills gap between open positions and ill-skilled unemployed under employed labor
- Civil/rural service program in exchange for student debt relief

None of the above ideas speak to racial divides or other cultural issues. These are solutions that would benefit people of many different socio-economic backgrounds. But these are all issues that Republicans oppose or are indifferent to.

Pretty much the only organization that is actually helping the Democrats reach potential undecided voters in an effective way. These last 2 weeks have been epic.

Well they pretty much forced the Republicans to dump a lot of money into Maine because Collins was taking a ton of punishment in the polls because of their ads. They have really gotten under Fox’s skin. So it’s atleast reaching people to the point that the Republicans see them as a threat.

They more pick and choose where to put their ads.

I think they would have loved the possibility but I think they really wanted the Republicans to focus on a mostly inconsequential seat and state where they were weaker elsewhere. Alot of that time and money could have been going to GA, AZ, and Nevada.

well of course Fox tries to downplay it and pivot to something else but it does show the potential influence and effectiveness of the LP ads.
