Betting on Falcons to win is a sign of CTE.
As part of a parlay!Betting on Falcons to win is a sign of CTE.
Does a millionaire really need to gamble? Ain't like the man needed to make money. No sympathy here.he was betting a 5 team parlay, really? that's what someone does when you are way down on the day. always thought it was something else besides a mental problem but gambling was not on the list. good luck calvin.
WHAT? come on b1g, they are not limiting gambling by their employees. You can gamble on anything you want. Mouse races, poker, parcheesi, Any sport imaginable but just not the NFL.Whatever. They push gambling on America and pass rules to limit gambling of their employees.
I take back what i said earlier, he does have a mental problem. Good LordAs part of a parlay!
My apologies to B1G, You are correct, i just found out that the NFL doesn't allow you to gamble on any sports, i did not know that. Still the rules are the rules, whether they may seem hypocritical or not.WHAT? come on b1g, they are not limiting gambling by their employees. You can gamble on anything you want. Mouse races, poker, parcheesi, Any sport imaginable but just not the NFL.
This is inaccurate. Players are allowed to bet on other sports via legal means. Excerpt from the NFL policy (source: https://nflcommunications.com/Documents/2018 Policies/2018 Gambling Policy - FINAL.pdf):My apologies to B1G, You are correct, i just found out that the NFL doesn't allow you to gamble on any sports…
Why does it matter, honestly? These players are making ungodly amounts of money, and of all the other things to do in life for fun, we're screaming "UNFAIR" to a trade off in life this insignificant? This is on the same level as my employer coming to me and saying we'll pay you millions of dollars per year to work here but you can't buy any silver vehicles as long as you're employed with us. (Silver is my favorite color on a vehicle). I think I could make that "sacrifice" and still live a very happy life.Yep. the No Fun League is all about supporting betting on their games but not so much about their employees getting in on the fun. Can't mess with the lines, doncha know.
You don't defecate where you live.I think they are "condoning" it to their viewers/customers, much like when I worked in the casino business. It was against policy for us to gamble at any property owned by Harrah's Entertainment. They wouldn't have an issue with it if he was gambling on CFL or XFL games.
Surely you can see the hypocrisyNope. They pass rules to prevent employees gambling on their own sport. Surely you can see the distinction?
In Ridley's case, I suspect that he is dealing with some serious mental health issues. That would certainly impair ones judgementI dunno what goes through these kids mind once they leave Alabama & become instant millionaire's.. Driving drunk like a maniac killing an innocent Lady or from what I gather Ridley bet on the sport that made him an instant millionaire..Not the brightest star in the night sky kinda decisions..
