I'd so much rather here announcers point out flawas when we are good than them blowing wind up our skirts when it's obvious we are a hot mess on offense.
Just like all this "the dynasty isn't dead" talk. The way I see it, if the dynasty has in fact died, that is just a normal part of life. What's NOT normal is this droning insistence that it's not dead. At some point, that just becomes denial and the media seems to be far more in denial than the fan base. This is just simply not a very good Bama team. Maybe not Shula era bad, but definitely not very good either. I wish they'd just stop automatically penciling us into the playoffs and referring to the Texas loss and the pitiful win over South Florida as anomalies

Can't put this on Rees. WR's were, again, open when they should be, but doesn't deliver the ball, or delivers it very late and/or very difficult to catch. All the progress we thought we saw in the second half last week went completely away and then some. ARK stacked the box, and dared us to beat them another way and we couldn't...
I guess my question is there anything Rees can do in the short game with “easy throws” to attempt to get Milroe in some kind of rhythm? Dear lord he was so “off”’ in that second half. And a couple of drops didn’t help.

The screens would be best option if the d is stacking the box since that takes away the slants. Those plays with the TE in motion or comes back side and hit him in flat too. Play action but blocking has to work.

Our OL is huge but i dont think they are that quick..so getting out on a screen isnt there forte..maybe why we havent seen that? Watching Nike U they have a nice balance..short passes, screens, jet sweep etc...definitely keeping UW off balance...and all this with Bo Nix!

Where in the hell do you hear any of that? We are all on the verge of being suspended with our negative comments.
Media. To hear them tell it, we deserve to have the CFP trophy awarded to us right now. That's not an exaggeration either

Granted Milroe struggled but the second half has to be placed on coaching staff. OC had a really bad day after early success. You gotta do things to help your QB. We were successfully running and then just went away from it
Granted, the OC has plenty of room to improve with play calling. But, on too many occasions, our ground game was stopped at or near the line of scrimmage. The razorbacks figured out what was happening and they really stopped our running backs in the second half. If Milroe can figure out how to throw the short passes, things will start looking better for us.

What was up with throwing the ball away on third and three before the field goal? There was nobody close. Why not wait another second or two for someone to come open, or better yet, lower the shoulder and try to get those three yards.
It just shows he struggles with "game awareness." Just like the pass to Benson last week when we should have been taking a knee.

I do think this offense is the hardest to watch since the Shula era. At least we knew 2007 was a bridge year.

I know we are all spoiled with great teams, offenses and QBs but this is ridiculous.

He can't throw it for JM, but I bet he wished he could.

I say this after every game, but I can't believe we are in this position with such inferior QB play.

Proctor needs to work on quickness. He's too slow. Seems it's either good 1st half, bad 2nd half, or vice versa. Got to somehow get both halves good.

you’re right about the o line. I meant the wr screen, maybe even jet pass as I doubt too the oline moves well enough for screens.

JMHO but I’ve seen no throw JM has made that TS couldn’t make and I’ve seen plenty of throws JM has missed that TS would have made. We are boom or bust. Seems like we’ve only had a handful of good sustained drives. This won’t get it against good teams. But I’ll still cheer. Love watching the D. But they could use a more reliable O.

Another thing: I know Arkansas was using
“directIonal” punting to keep the ball away from Kool-Aid, but Kool-Aid acts as though he wants nothing to do with fielding the ball, even when kicked TO HIM. I know he has had a bunch of muffs this year, but if he has lost confidence, for Pete’s sake, put someone back there that will. They were getting 10-15 yards of “roll out” on their punts.

Looked like he expected someone to go there, but they went another way. They need to get it together before next week.

He needs to lose a bunch of weight. It would help, but I'm afraid he may just not be quick enough to play LT.

I wonder about the competition he played against. I fear he didn't see a lot of speed rushers in HS football in Iowa.

I think JM gets to start due to his dual threat but he hasnt run at all today...and is basically in the pocket..not even rolled out...so it takes away that aspect or advantage. If its an accurate passer we need then the debate would be back on i think. Right now JM is doing enough to keep the job...just.
